Two of the most popular affiliate marketing courses you can buy today:
- The Authority Site System by Authority Hacker
- Project 24 by Income School
I’ve reviewed all the top affiliate marketing courses, including those two.
Key points for both:
The Authority Site System
Project 24
Authority Hacker vs Income School
If you’re torn between these two courses, this following should help.
😍 If you enjoy watching the Income School guys on YouTube…
You already know and like the way they teach, so you might as well roll with it.
🚀 If you want to see results as fast as possible…
Go with The Authority Site System »
I find the Authority Hacker approach to building affiliate sites to be very systematized and efficient, whereas the Income School guys rely a little too much on guesswork and intuition for my liking (especially when it comes to keyword research, as noted in my review).
That said, building a successful affiliate site isn’t an overnight job. Regardless of which training you follow, it will likely be several months before you start seeing decent results.
📚 If you want access to lots of training materials…
That course is much broader in scope, containing many mini-courses on topics like Pinterest, Photography, Email Marketing and YouTube.
Whereas The Authority Site System is more focused, designed to help you build a site with one primary source of traffic (organic) and one primary source of income (affiliate commissions).
🤷♂️ If you’re not sure affiliate marketing is for you…
Go with The Authority Site System »
They offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. So you can sign up, go through all the course materials, then get a full refund if you decide affiliate marketing isn’t your cup of tea.
Project 24, on the other hand, doesn’t give refunds – no going back if you sign up for that.
💰 If you’re on a tight budget…
You can make an argument for either course here:
- The Authority Site System does cost a bit more up front and requires you to spend extra on tools, but there’s no recurring fee and they do have a money-back guarantee.
- Project 24 will cost you less initially but there is an annual fee of $249 to keep access to the training and community, and they don’t give refunds.
Personally, I think the price difference between the two courses is negligible, so I wouldn’t advise basing your decision solely on that.
💪 If you want to build a site in a competitive niche…
Go with The Authority Site System »
You’ll learn the basics of link building, which I believe is essential if you want to compete with the big boys.
Authority Hacker’s approach to keyword research also seems to result in more of your content ranking well in Google, whereas the Income School approach seems to be more hit and miss.
🤔 If you’re still not sure…

Hi Niall i want to start affiliate marketing but i want to learn how to promote products from different social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram too including websites so, which course is the perfect fit for me according to you?
Hi Viraj,
I don’t really have any course to recommend to you for that. Income School’s Project 24 is probably the best for doing affiliate marketing via YouTube, but they don’t cover much in terms of Facebook or Instagram. Generally it’s very hard to make money as an affiliate via social media. Unless you have a big following on there already, you’d be better off focusing on SEO.
Niall
Incredible content on here. I just spent an hour or so just binging your stuff.
Quick question. My goal is to build traffic that is eventually monetized by converting a portion of the traffic to take a course I am building. I don’t necessarily want to go the affiliate marketing route.
Do you think these courses are appropriate for this? Is one better than the other? Or should I look elsewhere?
Thank you.
Hi Ayo,
Sounds like the main thing you need to focus on is SEO. Both the Authority Hacker and Income School courses will help you with that, though I think Authority Hacker is a better given their more methodical and data-driven approach to keyword research.
That said, I’d encourage you to consider doing some affiliate marketing before building and selling your own course. That way you can test out what converts and what doesn’t much faster and easier. I sold my own course online for years and I found that more difficult than affiliate marketing.
Will do Niall. Thanks for the advice. Affiliate lab just got thrown in the mix now. So I am looking forward to seeing your review of it.
Do you think these courses can help you get employed in case affiliate site does’nt work out?
Hey Max,
You’ll definitely build skills in SEO and content creation, which will make you more employable. Not sure if Authority Hacker still have it in their webinar, but they used to show how much you could earn doing SEO as an employee. That was the “worst case scenario” and it was pretty good. I believe that still holds true today. In general, the more skilled and capable you are, the easier it is to find a job.
