The Best Affiliate Marketing Course?

We’re on a mission to find the best affiliate marketing course, based on our own extensive research plus feedback from real students.

So much is unclear about Adam Cherringtion’s training that we’ve declined to give it a final rating.

However, given what we’ve learned about it I’m confident that it’s NOT the best affiliate marketing training out there.

🏆 Best Affiliate Marketing Courses 🏆

How does Adam Cherrington help you make money?

Affiliate marketing is when you promote other people’s products or services, and collect a commission for every successful referral.

Adam Cherringtion’s affiliate marketing method seems to center around promoting such products via paid ads.

It sounds like he doesn’t go the typical route of teaching paid ads on Facebook or Google, but instead shows you how to buy ads in established newsletters and big mailing lists.

(This would appear to avoid the common issue we’ve heard from students of courses like Commission Hero, where they are constantly getting their ad accounts banned on platforms like Facebook.)

Of course, paying for ads requires extra capital, so Adam’s students are expected to invest quite a bit of money beyond the price of the training itself.

As for the type of products Adam teaches you to promote, my impression is that he targets whatever products make the most money, regardless of their quality or effectiveness for the end customer.

For example, in a video promoting the course, Adam shows that one of the best-selling products he personally promotes is a diet pill. (More on this below.)

Who is Adam Cherrington’s training for?

Adam Cherrington never seems to exactly specify who his training is for.

With such a high price point, my guess is that it’s best suited for those who have significant starting capital and are looking to create another income stream.

Does Adam Cherrington have a good reputation?

It’s complicated.

Adam does indeed seem to be a successful affiliate marketer in his own right.

In one of the main videos he uses to market his training, he shows proof of having made $450,000 in 30 days from affiliate marketing…

adam cherrington review 2021 video showing his earnings

Above: screenshot from a 2021 video where Adam shows he’s earned $450K+ in 30 days as an affiliate promoting various products.

However, I have two issues with Adam’s claim here…

First, he only shows revenue, not profit.

Clearly Adam’s method requires a lot of money to be spent on advertising. He never seems to specify what kind of profit margin his students can expect to see by following his training.

Adam says that his own team has spent more than $30 million generating traffic…

But to be fair he does also say that his team averages $250k+ in monthly profits…

So while I tend to believe that Adam generates significant profits each month from his affiliate marketing business, I wish he was more transparent about his profit margins and what his students can expect in this regard.

Second, Adam says in the aforementioned video that his best-earning product is a diet pill.

Diet pills are notorious for their questionable reputation, as noted by WebMD

While there is some scant evidence that a few of these products have a minor effect, none are the magic bullet that will allow you to lose weight while you munch chips in front of the TV.

Even the experts who like these products agree that they have to be combined with proper diet and regular exercise to work.

Granted, promoting diet pills isn’t illegal.

And if you have no issue with promoting such products yourself, then Adam’s approach to affiliate marketing will probably resonate with you.

Personally though, I dislike training programs that focus on promoting whatever products make the most money, seemingly without caring if those products are genuinely helpful or a borderline scam.

I also find it a bit odd that Adam declares himself to be a devoted Christian 😇 but seemingly has no issue getting rich by selling diet pills on the internet 😏

Are Adam Cherrington’s students getting results?

Best I can tell, not a lot of students have gone through Adam’s program.

I found a handful of student testimonials, but they mainly seem to offer generic praise for Adam Cherrington’s training and it’s unclear what level of success most of them have achieved.

But there are some impressive testimonials out there, such as this student reporting that he’s earned $100,000 in affiliate commissions in a few months with a 70% profit margin…

adam cherrington review seth traub testimonial

That testimonial is from someone named Seth Traub.

Seth shows that he’s earned his profits by promoting products on ClickBank, a marketplace which doesn’t exactly have a great reputation.

Seth also says in an interview with Shawn Brace (COO for Cherrington Media) that he started affiliate marketing way back in 2003. His approach back then was using Google AdWords to direct link to affiliate products that he found on ClickBank.

Apparently Seth made some money that way until Google banned his account, then he got discouraged and abandoned affiliate marketing for a while.

I searched online for more info about Seth and found his LinkedIn, which states that he attended the University of New Hampshire…

Another search landed me on a news article about a New Hampshire man named Seth Traub who was fined $2000 for orchestrating an anti-spyware scam using Google AdWords back in 2006…

adam cherrington review article about a new hampshire man

No way to know for sure if that’s the same Seth Traub who appears to be one of Adam Cherrington’s most successful students… but if that’s NOT the same guy then it’s one hell of a coincidence!

Anyway, Adam claims that his students have a 95% success rate…

And apparently “success” in this case is revenue of $5000 to $30,000 per month (profit margin no specified)…

I find these numbers hard to believe, especially considering the small amount of testimonials from Adam’s students, and the lack of specifics provided by most of them.

In summary, I suspect Adam’s training does prove helpful for some students, but it sounds like they have to spend a lot of money to succeed. And they probably need to be okay with promoting questionable products.

How much does the Cherrington Experience cost?

Adam doesn’t seem to have the pricing for his program posted publicly online nowadays – looks like you have to book a “free 45-Minute strategy session” to discover the exact cost.

But I found some old sales pages on Adam’s website which specify a price of $28,995 for a 6-month “elite affiliate marketing mentorship”

Apparently that is on top of a $1000 deposit.

There also seems to be an option to pay in two installments of $14,495.

(Again, it’s unclear if those prices are still current.)

As stated about the deposit on the official Cherrington Media website…

Making a deposit with Cherrington Media is ensuring you get the Fast-Action Scholarship by making the decision to move forward with Adam and the team at Cherrington Media.

I assume you would be required to make that deposit on the “free 45-Minute strategy session” to move forward with the training.

Keep in mind that you’ll also need a lot of money for paid ads to fully utilize the training. Reports suggest that you’ll need something like $5000 to $10,000 for the initial ad spend.

Adam Cherrington Discount?

We searched everywhere but haven’t found any legit discount info for Adam’s training.

But given that you have to get on a call with a sales rep to join the training, you could always try to negotiate the price with them 😉

Refund Policy

The sales pages for Adam Cherrington’s training specify a 90-day action-based money-back guarantee

If you are committed to following a step-by-step, proven system, show up every day and be willing to push the boundaries of what you believe is possible, we guarantee you’ll make at least $5,000 in revenue in 90 days. Otherwise, we’ll refund your entire purchase AND give you FULL access to all our coaches and resources till you do! – You’ve got nothing to lose! *T&C’s Apply

I’m not a fan of action-based refund policies, and would much rather see a no-questions-asked policy here.

And the T&C’s that apply here are significant…

adam cherrington review guarantee criteria

So all-in it sounds like you would have to spend at least $40,000 on Adam’s training + ads just to meet the last criteria there.

Given all that, I’m inclined to believe it’s quite difficult to get a refund on your purchase of Adam’s training 😕

How is Adam Cherrington structured?

Unfortunately, not much is known about the training’s structure. Adam’s team states that there is a “quick start guide” that aims to help you launch your business in the first 2 weeks.

Although not the biggest part of the program, there are pre-recorded video lessons that act as a foundation and cover Adam’s strategy. You’ll also apparently get access to over $700,000 worth of software that his affiliate team has developed and uses internally.

I’d say that the best part here are the daily Zoom calls. Adam’s team is often online on both Zoom and Telegram, so you can ask questions through text or video chats. The latter are also saved and can be replayed any number of times.

The Cherrington team also apparently has a team of virtual assistants that can help you create ads and landing pages. In addition, there are affiliate experts that offer personalized video reviews. They’re eager to leave comments and directions to further boost your results.

Adam also claims that he has access to so-called “underground traffic sources” and partnerships with big affiliate networks.

This may all be true, but I haven’t been able to verify any of it.

Green Lights 🟢

A few things to like about Adam’s training…

  • 1-on-1 coaching.
  • Some of Adam’s students appear to have achieved impressive results.
  • Adam himself has clearly made a lot of money as an affiliate.

Red Flags 🚩

A few things to be wary of regarding Adam Cherrington…

  • Unclear pricing.
  • Little info on the training’s structure.
  • Few student success stories displayed publicly.
  • Expensive compared to most other affiliate marketing courses.
  • Complicated refund policy.
  • No consideration given to the quality of products promoted.

Other things you should know

  • I’ve seen numerous reports on Adam Cherrington being a legit guy, and he certainly comes across as such in his videos. But given that so little is known about Adam and his training, I remain skeptical.

Should you join Adam Cherrington’s training?

Personally, I’d be hesitant to join this training given all the above.

When you’re required to spend at least $40,000 in the first 90 days just to partially qualify for a refund… well that should make it a no-go for most people, and especially those new to affiliate marketing.

IMO, you should only seriously consider Adam Cherrington’s training if you have already gone through some top-rated and less expensive affiliate marketing courses (see below), and are somehow still struggling to see results and are happy to spend lots more money.
