Zon Ninja Masterclass is an online course that aims to teach you how to build an ecommerce business with Amazon FBA.

There are multiple strategies you can use for selling on Amazon, and Kevin David’s course appears to teach you specifically about private labeling. This is when you create your own brand to sell on Amazon.

Who is Zon Ninja Masterclass for?

Zon Ninja Masterclass aims to be a comprehensive course, teaching everything you need to know about selling physical products on Amazon.

From the course sales page:

The best part of Amz Ninja program is that it provides TONS of valuable content that is suitable for both beginners and advanced Amazon sellers! (source)

However, from my research it seems that building a successful Amazon FBA business – even with the help of THATLifestyleNinja – is a tough task. Personally I would not recommend it if you’re new to working online.

Does Zon Ninja Masterclass have a good reputation?

That Lifestyle Ninja training is very controversial, mainly because Kevin David is somewhat controversial.

Several prominent YouTubers have taken Kevin David to task for using questionable marketing tactics. The following video from Spencer Cornelia provides a good overview…

Despite those allegations, Kevin David has built quite a big following online, and my research uncovered far more praise than criticism for him and his online courses.

However, much of that praise rings a little hollow. 

For example, read through the hundreds of positive reviews for Kevin David on Trustpilot, and you’ll find that many are from people who have just recently discovered him and are hopeful that he’ll help them make money online in the future.

What’s more is Kevin was sued by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in 2022 for his alleged shady marketing tactics…

Are Lifestyle Ninja students getting results?

You’ll find many testimonials for Zon Ninja on this reviews page, mixed in with testimonials from students of Kevin’s other training programs.

There are some impressive student results highlighted there, but most of those which can be dated appear to be from 2018 or earlier.

My impression is that selling on Amazon has become far more competitive in recent years, and as such it seems harder for newcomers to break through and build a successful business, even with the help of Zon Ninja Masterclass.

Also, it’s worth noting that most Amazon sellers earn less than 20% in profit (source). Take that into consideration when you see sellers reporting their revenue numbers.

How much does Zon Ninja Masterclass cost?

Zon Ninja Masterclass seems to be offered at different prices throughout the year, but I’ve seen it priced at $1997 most often.

They also offer a monthly payment option, which usually costs $597 per month for five months and works out to a total cost of $2,985.

Keep in mind that you’ll also need some money to buy inventory or create your product before you can start selling, and more money for advertising your product once it’s live on Amazon.

I’ve seen no mention of these additional expenses on the Zon Ninja sales page, but according to my research you should expect to spend at least $5000 to launch and market your product.

Another additional expense to be aware of is the software required to follow the Zon Ninja training. They recommend their own software called ZonBase, which costs at least $37 per month, but apparently you get a discount as a THATLifestyle Ninja student.

Zon Ninja Masterclass Discount?

I’ve seen unverified reports that Zon Ninja is sometimes available at a price lower than $1997, but this seems to be rare.

Your best bet for getting a discount is to watch Kevin David’s sales webinar, where he might offer access to the course at a discounted rate.

Refund Policy

The refund policy for Zon Ninja is quite complicated.

According to the terms of service linked from the course sales page, you are NOT eligible for a refund if:

• You request a refund more than 14 days after buying the course.
• You have viewed more than 40% of the course materials.
• You paid for the course in installments.
• You got discounted access to the course.

To qualify for the refund, you must also meet the following requirements:

• Completion of all of Module 1 from start to finish (tracked by their backend system) and complete the 5 Steps of Product Research.
• Must have received quotes from at least 3 different suppliers.
• Must participate in the private Blackbelt Facebook group. Write one post per week, or one comment on another members post, or ask one question you may have or advice from members.

Given all that, combined with the handful of reports of refund issues on BBB.org, I’m inclined to believe it’s quite difficult to get a refund on your purchase of Zon Ninja Masterclass 🙁

How is the training structured?

As per the sales page for Zon Ninja, there are 6 core modules in the training:

• Product Research
• Suppliers & Shipping
• Listing Optimization
• Product Launch Strategies
• Amazon PPC, ClickFunnels, Facebook, and Instagram Training
• Amazon Seller Central Hacks

Apparently it all amounts to more than 40 hours of training and 100+ video tutorials.

The course also comes with the following bonuses:

• Template library for contacting suppliers and/or customers
• Tour, training and discounted access to ZonBase
• Free access to Kevin David’s Amazon Agency Course
• Access to private Facebook community (8000+ members)
• Live monthly Q&As with Kevin David

Green Lights 🟢 

Based on my research and submitted student reviews, here are some things to like about Zon Ninja Masterclass:

• Regularly updated, with free updates for existing students.
• Active private community.
• The training is practical, comprehensive, and step-by-step.

Red Flags 🚩 

A few things about Zon Ninja Masterclass that might give you pause:

• Numerous questionable marketing tactics (eg. fake scarcity) used to sell the course.
• Complicated refund policy.
• Somewhat expensive compared to other Amazon FBA courses.
• Hard to find significant success stories from students who started after 2018.
• Reports of numerous upsells within the training.
• To give yourself a decent chance of success with Amazon FBA, a large investment ($5,000+) is required beyond the price of the course. There is no mention of this on the sales page for Zon Ninja.

Other things you should know

• Per my research on Amazon FBA, after buying a course like Zon Ninja you should have at least an additional $5000 on hand to kickstart your Amazon business.
• You’ll find lots of downloads and other resources within the course, including spreadsheets, PDFs, tools, templates, etc.

Should you join Zon Ninja Masterclass?

Personally, I’d be hesitant to join this course given all the above.

But if you’re a big fan of Kevin David and eager to learn FBA from him in particular, then this Amazon FBA Ninja course could be a worthwhile investment for you. You’ll likely find some good tips, processes and mentors within the training and private community.

If you’re not especially partial to Kevin David but still want to learn Amazon FBA, I’d recommend starting with some lower-priced courses (see below) to test the waters and see if this kind of business is a good fit for you.
