Niall Doherty

Hey, I’m Niall Doherty.

I quit my last 9-to-5 job back in 2010.

Since then, I’ve earned my living online in various ways. Over the last 4 years (through 2023) I’ve earned $842,000 from my laptop.

I’m on a mission to accurately rate and review all the best Amazon FBA courses. My team and I have spent 120+ hours investigating these courses and getting feedback from real students.

All that to say: we know a thing or two about Amazon FBA and making money online.

The Best Amazon FBA Course?

How does The Last Amazon Course help you make money?

The Last Amazon Course is an online program that aims to teach you how to build an ecommerce business with Amazon FBA.

You can see a detailed overview of the course content on this page. It covers everything from product research to sourcing your product(s) to making sales and scaling the business.

You can preview the course for free on Udemy.

Who is The Last Amazon Course for?

The Last Amazon Course aims to be a comprehensive course, teaching everything you need to know about sourcing and selling products on Amazon.

One sales page for the course says that the course is ideal for beginner, intermediate and advanced students.

However, based on my research I would say Brock Johnson’s course is best for people new to Amazon FBA.

Does The Last Amazon Course have a good reputation?

Yes.

Judging by our research and the student reviews we’ve collected (see below), the praise for The Last Amazon Course seems to heavily outweigh the criticism.

The creator of the course, Brock Johnson, seems to be a well-respected and successful Amazon seller. His main claim to fame, as he tells it, is “going from 0 to $6 million in 6 months selling solar eclipse glasses on Amazon.”

Are students getting results?

It’s easy to find people praising The Last Amazon Course, but I had a hard time finding students reporting that they’d achieved significant results from following the training.

Apparently more than 30,000 people have signed up for the course via Udemy alone, but comb through the hundreds of reviews on Udemy or Trustpilot and it’s rare to see someone crediting the course with helping them to build a successful business on Amazon.

Instead, 99% of reviews seem to be praising the low price of the course and the volume of information provided.

For example:

For such a highly-praised and popular course, I would have expected to see far more student success stories during my research.

How much does The Last Amazon Course cost?

The Last Amazon Course has several payment options.

Sign up via the official course website for a $1/week plan, or pay $24 for lifetime access. If you also want to attend the livestreams with Brock Johnson, you can pay $39 as a one-time fee for the course.

The course is also available to buy via Udemy. The regular price listed there is $130, but you can get lifetime access for as little as $10 during one of Udemy’s frequent sales.

I was able to get lifetime access to the course for only $15 during a Udemy sale.

To launch your Amazon FBA business, keep in mind that you’ll also need some money to buy inventory and possibly spend on advertising. The total amount you’ll need depends on the product(s) you decide to source and sell.

In the below video from 2018, Brock recommends at the 10:50 mark that you spend at least $2000 to $3000 to launch your business.

The Last Amazon Course Discount?

As mentioned above, there are several ways to buy The Last Amazon Course, some cheaper than others.

Buy direct from the official course website and you can get access for as little as $1 per week, or you can pay $24 for lifetime access.

To get the best discount, keep an eye on the price of the course on Udemy. You can sometimes get lifetime access there for as little as $10.

Refund Policy

The Last Amazon Course comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

That guarantee applies whether you buy the course via the official site, or via Udemy.

How is the training structured?

You can see a detailed overview of the course content on this page. It lists all of the lessons included in the course and their duration.

In total, Brock Johnson’s course contains over 45 hours of content, broken into more than 350 video lessons.

The training begins with a beginner course which takes you about 3 hours to complete.

Here’s what the training looks like if you sign up via Udemy…

However, I have read several complaints from students that the lessons are arranged somewhat haphazardly, with newer training videos dropped in among the older videos.

Green Lights 🟢

Based on my research and submitted student reviews, here are several things to like about The Last Amazon Course:

  • Incredibly low price.
  • Most students seem to rate the course highly, mainly due to the value for money.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • The training is comprehensive and step-by-step.
  • No overhyped promises or shady marketing.

Red Flags 🚩

A few things about The Last Amazon Course that might give you pause:

  • Hard to find students reporting significant positive results from following the training.
  • Sales pages provide no info about how much money you’ll need to invest in your business beyond the price of the training.
  • Students complain about the course being too long, not concise.
  • The community you get access to when you buy the course seems to only be a comment section below each video lesson; some students report that their questions posted there go unanswered.

Other things you should know

  • According to Brock Johnson, you should have at least an additional $2000 to $3000 on hand to kickstart your Amazon business.

Should you join The Last Amazon Course?

It’s hard to go wrong with this course when it has so many positive reviews and the price of entry is so low.

I would recommend it for anyone curious about Amazon FBA and eager to learn more without breaking the bank.

Just be aware that success with such training usually requires a significant amount of time and effort. (This is true for all types of online business.)

Basic information for beginners

I found this course ok. It was filled with mediocre information, nothing groundbreaking but good for the price.

It does give beginners the basic foundations they need to get started but they’ll need to supplement it with further education once they start to scale their business. There are some good tips offered.

Overall I would recommend it if you don’t mind a little fluff. Brock does seem to ramble on a bit.

Pros and Cons

  • Affordable.
  • Some good tips and hacks.
  • Brock seems personable on camera.
  • A lot of fluff.
  • Brock rambles on a good bit.
  • Just has to the basics of getting started. Little off-Amazon traffic driving strategies.

It's a bunch of information but getting lost is easy

I bought this course after hearing and seeing many YouTube ads talking about Amazon FBA and how good it is.

The Last Amazon Course was pretty cheap so I decided to buy it since it had a bunch of information and topics covered. The course goes on to explain the whole science and life chain of the FBA business.

The instructor shared his own pain points and ways to get through them. Overall it helped me get started with my own FBA business.

Pros and Cons

  • The value for less price (compared to other courses).
  • Instructor sharing his own experience.
  • Case studies to help understand the ins and outs of a particular action.
  • The way it was organized.
  • Production quality.
  • Not for people who are already into FBA.

Affordable and extensive knowledge for Amazon FBA sellers

It is the best investment I’ve ever made. So much knowledge and resources that can be implemented in e-commerce in general, not only for Amazon FBA.

I bought it for $10 and now have lifetime access to the course. It is very detailed and step-by-step: it covers product analysis, development, sourcing, logistics, and marketing. The course is up to date and very well organized.  It allows you to skip the video lessons (if you think you already know that part) without any delay and hesitation.

Besides the training, you will discover the top 60+ Amazon FBA seller tools and services, such as international currency transfers, marketing automation, photography, shipping, sourcing, legal advice.

I strongly recommend all the Amazon FBA beginners go for Brock Johnson’s course, don’t waste time browsing free, non-logical YouTube videos for your business.

Pros and Cons

  • Brock Johnson is a real successful Amazon FBA seller.
  • Valuable info and useful resources.
  • The most affordable course ever.

The one course all Amazon seller should have

I have been a full-time Amazon seller for several years now. I’ve taken a few Amazon FBA courses and The Last Amazon Course is one of them.

Whether you’re just starting out or if you’re an experienced Amazon seller, this course is a must-have. There are hundreds of gurus selling their courses for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. The Last Amazon Course is basically free and offers a lot more info than its more expensive counterparts.

I’ve had a lot of friends say that they want to sell on Amazon just like me. They want to learn about it and this course allows them to learn about Amazon FBA without spending a ton of money on an expensive course.

From A to Z, Brock offers all the information you could possibly need to sell on Amazon. He offers a ton of value to those that are just starting out with Amazon, as well as full-time sellers. I often find myself going into the course and seeing if I can find an answer to a question/issue I have.

Overall, the best value you could possibly get when it comes to Amazon courses. Tons of valuable information at an extremely low cost! Doesn’t get much better than this.

Pros and Cons

  • Low price.
  • Lots of information.
  • Can increase the playback speed.
  • Sometimes Brock doesn't get to the point very quick.

A great course to begin Amazon FBA Private Label journey

I took this course when I was a newbie and it really helped. The course covers the complete step-by-step journey an Amazon seller goes through, starting from product research all the way to selling and scaling the business. I really like the way the lessons are arranged.

The course includes product research, criteria and research techniques, difficulties and problems, sourcing from suppliers, negotiating on price, creating and optimizing listings, product photography including Amazon’s requirements, launching strategies, etc. It also covers advanced topics like outsourcing the business, solutions for the pitfalls i.e. suspension by Amazon, hijackers on listings, and legal and taxation matters.

I rate the interviews with professionals very highly. They broadened my perspective even more. The interviewees include developers and CEOs of leading Amazon tools like Viral Launch, Helium10 and Jungle Scout.

One area that’s lacking is the PPC module. That was not as detailed as I would have liked. Also, there is much reliance on automation tools in the course. Whereas, in Freedom Ticket, multiple launching strategies are discussed and they are discussed in a lot more detail.

But in comparison with other courses available, I believe The Last Amazon Course is a good investment for absolute beginners, considering the knowledge offered against the money spent.

Overall, I highly recommend Brock Johnson’s course. For me it was totally worth the time, money and effort.

Pros and Cons

  • The coherence and logical sequence of modules and videos makes navigation very easy.
  • Great value for money.
  • Lack of minute details in the PPC module (strategy is generalized).
  • PPC strategy mostly relies on automation tools (there are better strategies out there).

One of the best Amazon FBA courses I've taken

This course is really beneficial for someone from the USA. Most of the issues raised by the community are from people outside the USA.

But besides that the course content is really good. You can get great understanding of Amazon FBA. For example: How to do an FBA PL business? How to become a virtual assistant for FBA stores? It’s all clear after taking this course.

However I did also take a course called Extreme Commerce and personally found that one more helpful.

Pros and Cons

  • The course content was really well explained.
  • The instructors had a good amount of knowledge and seemed experienced.
  • Even if you're a newbie you'll get a ton of knowledge.
  • In my opinion it was focused for US only audience.

    • The official word on this from Brock Johnson:

Udemy one is slightly different and updates and some features arent on there because there are limitations on the platform, but 80% of the content is the same and you can be successful with either one!
