You make money by providing a store and selling products from a third-party supplier. When a customer purchases something, the store orders the product from the supplier, and the supplier delivers the product to the customer.

What kind of online business is dropshipping?

Here’s how dropshipping fits into our online business framework:

  Dropshipping is considered a resale business. You make money by selling at a higher price than you buy. As a dropshipper you would essentially be a “middleman” but the customer sees you as the owner of the product and they deal directly with you.
