The highest hourly rate I’ve seen for a Community English Tutor on iTalki (minimum 100 lessons) is $25.

Note that iTalki takes a 15% commission on transactions between teachers and students, and teachers are also charged a small fee when they withdraw their earnings.

As for workload, it seems you can teach as much or as little as you on iTalki so long as you can find enough students.

The pro teacher in the video below reports that she usually does 7-8 classes per day and sometimes as many as 10-11:

Presumably, if the students are there, community tutors can teach that many hours per day as well.
