Welcome to our definitive FullStaq Marketer review.

FullStaq Marketer is a series of courses by Keala Kanae. They are likely the successor to AWOL Academy, a discontinued affiliate marketing course.

My team and I have researched the FullStaq training thoroughly and share our insights below.

(Have you taken this course? Add your rating!)

If you want to know…

  • Why Keala Kanae is so controversial
  • The common complaints people have about FullStaq Marketer
  • If the training is still effective nowadays
  • How much it costs (including upsells)
  • What real students think of FullStaq Marketer (see their reviews)

Then you’ve come to the right place.

About the Author

Niall Doherty

Hey, I’m Niall Doherty.

I quit my last 9-to-5 job back in 2010.

Since then, I’ve earned my living online in various ways. Over the last 4 years (through 2023) I’ve earned $842,000 from my laptop, mostly via affiliate marketing.

I’m on a mission to accurately rate and review all the best affiliate marketing courses. My team and I have spent 900+ hours investigating these courses and getting feedback from real students.

All that to say: we know a thing or two about such courses and making money online.

The Best Affiliate Marketing  Course?

I’m on a mission to find the best affiliate marketing course, based on my own extensive research plus feedback from real students.

Unfortunately, FullStaq Marketer doesn’t come close to topping my list of the best affiliate marketing courses…

🏆 Best Affiliate Marketing Courses 🏆

How does FullStaq Marketer help you make money?

Affiliate marketing is when you promote other people’s products or services, and collect a commission for every successful referral.

FullStaq Marketer is a somewhat unusual affiliate marketing program in that you’re mainly taught how to promote FullStaq Marketer itself.

This doesn’t become apparent until you actually sign up for the Business Launch Challenge (BLC). As one student put it…

I wish I knew I was signing up to promote his product before I bought the course. I’m not saying it would have prevented me from buying it, but he was not transparent about this and I felt a little slighted.

Besides the Business Launch challenge, the other product that seems to be easily accessible is FullStaq Accelerator.

Other products that are part of FullStaq require you to contact the sales/support team before getting any info on them.

Who is FullStaq Marketer for?

FullStaq Marketer sells itself as a platform for newcomers to affiliate marketing, and even for people new to making money online in general.

The Business Launch Challenge’s premise, which is mentioned in the sales video, explains this in more detail…

fullstaq marketer review sales video

I agree that it’s probably best for beginners, as does this student of the training…

I would recommend this to people who are new and know little to nothing about funnels and affiliate marketing. For $99 you definitely get a lot of value that I have seen others charge $250 for.

Does FullStaq Marketer have a good reputation?

FullStaq Marketer is somewhat controversial, mainly because Keala Kanae is somewhat controversial.

Together with Kameron George, he used to run an affiliate marketing course called AWOL Academy.

FullStaq Marketer seems to be a revamped version of AWOL Academy, but many people believe it’s a completely different course. It’s rumored that the latter was discontinued due to highly negative user reviews.

Whatever the truth is, the fact that FullStaq Marketer went live the same year its predecessor was discontinued (in 2019) tells you a lot about it.

Despite Keala standing behind both courses, which usually serves as a green light, I recommend that you approach his products with caution.

While he is a highly popular course creator, we’d expect his affiliate marketing results to be much more accessible. I’d argue that makes him some sort of “guru”, which is funny because that’s the exact type of people he suggests that you steer clear of.

Are FullStaq Marketer students getting results?

According to Keala Kanae, yes.

You will find several testimonials like these in the sales materials for the training…

fullstaq marketer review ray and cara testimonial
fullstaq marketer review chris testimonial
fullstaq marketer review jeff and sarah testimonial

Those results are impressive, but it’s unclear how old they are. Also, I couldn’t find any of these people elsewhere online. Usually my research turns up a social media account or a website for one of these students, but not this time.

Read into that what you will.

How much does FullStaq Marketer cost?

The listed price for Business Launch Challenge is just $39, and FullStaq Accelerator is $99.

For the most part, the Business Launch Challenge seems legit. Students report that the training is intense, but practical. It looks like there is a lot to learn during those two-and-a-half days.

The issue is that there are way too many upsells, all of which seem to be hidden from the public eye. You only find out about them when you sign up for the program.

And the price of the upsells goes all the way to $15,000+.

The Elite package seems to be the top upsell. As well as access to all other courses, it apparently grants you mentorship and contact with Keala.

I haven’t seen any mention of this upsell on the FullStaq Marketer website. Why hide it? The secrecy here makes me question the whole thing.

FullStaq Marketer Discount?

FullStaq Accelerator is allegedly already discounted to $99 from $397. There is a field for coupon codes on the checkout page, but I didn’t find any legit coupon code during my research.

Sorry, it seems like you’ll need to pay the full prices (allegedly discounted) already mentioned.

Refund Policy

For the Business Launch Challenge, Keala promises to give you double the entrance fee back if you’re not satisfied…

Remember, you’ll either leave the event with a business OR we’ll refund you DOUBLE your ticket price.

However, he never talks about the refund period for this three-day live training, which is a bit suspicious IMO 😕

The sales page for FullStaq Accelerator specifies a 14-day money-back guarantee…

We’re so certain you’ll love Fullstaq Accelerator and these special limited time bonuses that we’ll let you take it for a full 14 day test drive on us!

Join our community, have your Clarity Call, and start your training at zero risk! If you’re not happy for any reason (which is rare), just shoot us an email at [email protected] and we’ll happily return your entire purchase!

A quick scour through the company’s BBB page shows many complaints about unprocessed refunds. Although the majority of refunds were finally processed, some people apparently had to put in extra effort for that to happen.

How is FullStaq Marketer structured?

Like we’ve mentioned, the Business Launch Challenge is a grueling three-day training session that promises to teach you how to start a business from scratch.

The training seems sound in principle, as it may help people improve their work ethic and keep it up. But you don’t get any recordings, making it feel a bit too forced…

Green Lights 🟢

A few things to like about FullStaq Marketer…

  • Low entry fees for the starter programs.
  • Some decent training offered by the Business Launch Challenge.

Red Flags 🚩

A few things to be wary of regarding FullStaq Marketer…

  • No recordings for Business Launch Challenge, making it impossible to go back and review specific lessons.
  • Reports of numerous upsells within the training.
  • Little training on how to promote anything but FullStaq Marketer itself.
  • Unclear if the training is still being updated.
  • Some big skeletons in Keala Keane’s closet.
  • Full cost of implementing the training undisclosed when joining.
  • Claims FullStaq Marketer is an easy way to make money online.
  • Numerous questionable marketing tactics (eg. fake scarcity) used to sell the course.

Other things you should know

  • There are many positive reviews of FullStaq on sites like BBB.org and TrustPilot, at least for the Business Launch Challenge. However, most of them simply speak to how motivating and exciting the BLC training is. Very few people there seem to be reporting that they’ve actually earned significant income via FullStaq Marketer.
  • One of the dangers of FullStaq Marketer is that it teaches you primarily how to promote FullStaq Marketer itself. So if you are somehow successful in earning money by following the system, you will end up almost entirely dependent on that system for your income. If at some point Keala Kanae decides to stop selling his program – unlikely, but possible, as he did the same with AWOL Academy – then you no longer have a business.
  • Info on the course upsells is incredibly scarce. Keala Kanae might as well make a course teaching you how to hide information so well. I’m inclined to think that would be much more comprehensive than FullStaq Marketer.

Should you join FullStaq Marketer?

I cannot in good conscience recommend FullStaq Marketer as a reliable way to make money online.

It’s riddled with questionable marketing tactics used to sell the program. There’s little info available about the (expensive) upsells. And most of the positive reviews I’ve seen of the program seem to come from people who are fired up from the BLC training but have yet to achieve any significant results.

For all these reasons, I would personally steer clear of FullStaq Marketer and instead consider some of the alternative affiliate marketing courses listed below.

Suited for beginners

I started affiliate marketing out of curiosity at the young age of 23. I tried it with a DIY approach and failed.

I did several other courses, downloaded some PDF guides, and didn’t get far. I saw a repeating pattern of all these courses – they give you material and expect you to figure it out on your own.

Fullstaq Marketer is different in that regard. The assistance they provide is what is valuable.

I didn’t go looking for Fullstaq – Fullstaq found me. I am glad it did. After going through many of their trainings and live classes, I started to succeed and learned from mistakes.

I feel like I found a new sense of “hope” for myself. Fullstaq does more than just teach you how to make money. What I was really lacking was that mindset. I needed to invest in myself. I still learn and keep the course. They never stop teaching us new innovative things when it comes to marketing.

If you’re a beginner interested in learning the necessary skills and see the value in this, then give it a try. If you’re unhappy with your path, that’s fine, too.

Fullstaq has an excellent community. I’ve made friends from far away. I work freelance online. This company taught me that. I don’t have any complaints about it.

Pros and Cons

  • Tutor support.
  • An easy course video that you can watch again and again.
  • Their support team is easy to communicate with for technical issues or other problems that might arise.
  • All classes go by Pacific time. If you live in another time zone, then expect some live trainings to go late.
  • Their community page could be on another site besides Facebook. Personally, I dislike Facebook but that’s just me. If they could have multiple platforms, then I’d like that better.
  • My struggle with affiliate marketing is copy/email marketing – this is the hardest part. Their training on this is extensive and it requires patience and persistence. If only this was easy...

Steer clear, my dear

Honestly, most of us were blindsided by the $14,800 amount to become elite.

Then, when I spoke to an advisor, she mentioned she could do $5,800 to become an affiliate. When I hesitated, she said she could unlock more courses for only $2,900. Wow, what a bargain! It’s ridiculous.

I had no idea that after the 2 and a half day launch challenge, we had to pay $99 to get the same things we did over the weekend on the training courses. It’s been such a waste of money.

They make you buy Clickfunnels ($97), Zero Media Chaser ($165), Bluehost, ClickMagick, GetResponse, Cloudflare, and many others. I completely understand these are part of creating a funnel and linking it together. However, we had nothing to sell except Keala’s product.

Everyone was so stoked when leads came into the funnels we set, not realizing Keala will send traffic to it. It is his product they’re buying into at the end of the day. He even confessed they turned it on only for working links and would turn it off within some time because he can’t just give free traffic to everyone. It was crazy.

I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, but too many things kept pointing at what my gut had been telling me all along. They prey on the vulnerable and the desperate and feed them false dreams and hopes.

Pros and Cons

  • I did learn how to create a funnel.
  • I created a funnel for HIS product.

Don't waste your money

The course was okay and somewhat insightful. However, after proceeding through the Fullstaq Accelerator program it became perfectly and logically clear that the only one making any money was Fullstaq. They earn commissions for each tool that is listed and that you purchase through them. Also, some of the training videos are vague and hop around the subject.

From the lack of Fullstaq support on the Facebook group, I deduced that the only help you will get is from group members, not Fullstaq itself. If you try to post a logical concern regarding the videos or their training, your post gets denied without explanation. This is shady, in my view.

I have managed to get a few people who are in the program to disclose their profit or lack thereof to me. One person has paid 9 months of website costs and other services only to earn one single $100 commission. Just Bluehost is $97/mo which means he invested a minimum of $873 for 9 months simply to earn $100? Not a very good or promising ROI in my opinion. As I stated before, the only one making any money is Fullstaq.

Pros and Cons

  • The Hierarchy of Values assessment
  • Fairly decent instruction on startup
  • Fairly easy-to-follow videos
  • Failure to mention additional costs for starting out
  • Unless you pay for the training beyond Accelerator, you're stuck
  • The only one making any money was Fullstaq

Don't bother. Another MLM with massive upsells.

I enrolled a few weeks ago and paid $40 (CA$60) for entry, and then joined the Business Launch Challenge (BLC) for $99. The time difference was awful and they have no consideration or alternative arrangements (for example, replays of the training) for people in different time zones.

The first session went on until 1 am my time and I fell asleep during part of it. The only good thing was that they provide you with step-by-step PDF files at the end of each session. Therefore, you can do the work yourself in a fraction of the time they take to show you. If you’re just a little tech-savvy, you will find this a breeze.

However, during the 10-hour sessions on Saturday and Sunday, there was maybe an hour of work. Both sessions started at 12:30 pm and ran until 11 pm my time. Even though I missed a couple of hours on Saturday, I was able to set everything up in 45 minutes by myself following the PDF instructions.

The Sunday session was the same as Saturday’s. The tutor seemed bored and there were a lot of people of all ages. One lady started crying because she was so frustrated that her links weren’t working and couldn’t get any help. The tutor told her to reach out to the support team and redo the entire BLC at another time. That is such an unfair response to someone who has already spent 21 hours in this program.

Also, there is way too much filler talk with motivational speakers. When Keana is talking, he sounds like a 20-something-year-old running his mouth about why his company is better.

After the BLC, I had 40 leads and not a single sale. Everyone uses the same autoresponder emails and you’re only trained to promote FullStaq Marketer. Good luck if you plan to market anything else.

On the other hand, the Facebook group is fantastic and full of extremely helpful people. You’ll get more help there than you will from the entire team of FullStaq employees.

After the BLC we had to book a follow-up phone call with one of their advisors. The adviser asked me why I chose FullStaq, what was my situation, why did I want this, etc. She then proceeded to upsell me without telling me the cost until I asked her about it 3 times. Soon I found out that the *elite* program starts at $5,800 and goes up to 14k. Then she sent me an email with links to loan companies to help me finance the training she was trying to sell me. That was the final straw. I asked for my refund but heard nothing back after 6 days.

Please do not give this company your money. They are rude and expect you to bend over backward for them. They even go so far as to guilt people into taking time off of their regular jobs to participate in the Business Launch Challenge and then say that people who don’t do it aren’t serious about the business. This company is making millions off of people’s debt. Avoid it at all costs. Huge red flag!

Pros and Cons

  • The Facebook community.
  • PDF guides at the end of the sessions.
  • 11 hours to do 1 hour of work.
  • Rude tutors who offered no help.
  • Very shady and not upfront with you. Do your own research on these companies.

Fullstaq Marketer novice review

On Instagram, I was lured by a charming and relatable Keala Kanae business model to make money online through affiliate marketing. I attended his webinar and signed up for his program for $97. After that, they frequently reached out through texting and emails to go through their training.

The training was over three days, an intense Business Launch Challenge. I had to reschedule my working weekend for it and asked my 11-year-old son to be patient and not bother me while I went through this vital business opportunity training. The first day (Friday) was for 4 hours, then 8-9 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Even after going through this grueling training, I didn’t earn any money because you had to sign up for a bunch of other products – eg. ClickFunnels, GetResponse, Bluehost, Keep – to build your business website. There was no guarantee that you would have people signing up for this business opportunity you promoted on your own dime (e.g. buying leads from another support company).

The worst part is that you are being pushed to buy an elite program for $15,000 to make money online! Since I had a bad feeling about it, I went online to check the reviews, which confirmed my suspicions. This program is not the best and easiest way to make money online.

Pros and Cons

  • Good support from the training.
  • Inexpensive to start.
  • Seems easy to do.
  • Promises to make easy money.
  • Expensive support products to build your website.
  • Very expensive upsell.

Valuable content – massive upsell to continue.

I found Fullstaq through a Facebook ad and signed up for the webinar. During the webinar Keala said that for $99 he was giving us his Fullstaq Accelerator plus “done for you funnels.” I bought the course. For $99 I got probably 60 hours of video courses, affiliate tools, and access to the Facebook group.

His Accelerator course was really great. I am totally new to funnels and affiliate marketing and found a lot of value. Before the funnel training and sometime after the welcome videos Keala explained his upsell (but he didn’t call it an upsell): $15K to join his Elite group.

I went through the affiliate videos and set up my funnel. Signed up for Clickfunnels, Clickmagick, Cloudfare, GetResponse and bought a domain. The funnel looked really plain and odd to me, but since you were encouraged to buy traffic from his other company I figured it was okay. Keala’s motto was “earn while you learn.” I set up the affiliate funnel (through a separate training course), got the paid traffic, used his email swipes – that I was not all that impressed with – and then worked through the Accelerator course.

I honestly didn’t know I was signing up to be an affiliate of his course when he pitched his “done for you funnels.” I thought they would have been for other products.

As I said I am new and found a lot of value in the training. The videos walk you through setting up a domain, registering for the services, how to navigate Clickfunnels, suggestions on how to pick products to promote, mindset, ways to think about writing copy.

And then it just ends. Or at least it did for me.

I started poking around the resources and found outdated promotion materials (I asked about them in the FB group). I realized, that while the training was really good and I learned a lot, I was going to have to pay $15k to unlock any more training and be privy to earning the big commissions.

To date (17 days) I have had 69 unique clicks to my affiliate landing page and 33 people opt in.

I wish I knew I was signing up to promote his product before I bought the course. I’m not saying it would have prevented me from buying it, but he was not transparent about this and I felt a little slighted. He would rather you promote his program and even if I did pay to upgrade I would feel bad about getting a commission on someone else joining Elite. I don’t think I could ask someone to pay $15K for a program especially if they had to take a loan out (I have read posts in the group about people doing this). I don’t know how hard they push you to buy Elite since I have not had my “clarity call.”

I would recommend this to people who are new and know little to nothing about funnels and affiliate marketing. For $99 you definitely get a lot of value that I have seen others charge $250+ for.

Pros and Cons

  • Good training videos.
  • A lot of content.
  • The HUGE upsell.
  • Outdated resources.

2 Questions & Answers

  1. I came here for a nosy on this course as there’s a bunch of chicks on TikTok all claiming to have made 300k in 6 months and they have a substantial following with lots and lots of comments on every post – despite it being a very saturated market on the app!

    Reply
  2. Has anyone in your reviews actually joined the Elite system? I would like to hear from those people. You can get bad reviews all day long from people who refuse to spend the money.

    Reply
    • I totally agree. In all actually, you are paying $15,000 for education which equals Mastery. I think that the problem is, people are seeking to pay $15,000 and somehow automatically reach their destination of becoming financially free; instead of paying the $15,000 to master the skill and enjoy the journey along the way. The big problem with most people, is they are still stuck in a poor way of thinking, as well as, a poor attitude about what is meant to be education. What you do with your education is 100% up to you. Not the teacher.
