About the Author

Niall Doherty

Hey, I’m Niall Doherty.

I quit my last 9-to-5 job back in 2010.

Since then, I’ve earned my living online in various ways. Over the last 4 years (through 2023) I’ve earned $842,000 from my laptop.

I’m on a mission to accurately rate and review all the best online business courses. My team and I are spending many hours investigating these courses and getting feedback from real students.

All that to say: we know a thing or two about such courses and making money online.

The Best Affiliate Marketing Course?

We’re on a mission to find the best affiliate marketing course, based on our own extensive research plus feedback from real students.

Since Authority Hacker Pro covers much more than affiliate marketing, and due to it being a more advanced course, we’ve excluded it from our rankings of the best affiliate marketing courses.

If you’re new to the world of affiliate marketing, I recommend you start with The Authority Site System – that’s Authority Hacker’s beginner-friendly training – or one of the other top courses listed below…

🏆 Best Affiliate Marketing Courses 🏆

How does Authority Hacker Pro help you make money?

Authority Hacker Pro is a collection of ~16 advanced digital marketing blueprints, all related to building and growing an authority website.

An authority site is content-driven website that is a respected and trusted source of information. It is a larger site that delivers real value through it’s excellent editorial standards. This makes people trust the advice and recommendations from the site.

That description is from this page on the Authority Hacker website, which does a great job of breaking down the authority site business model.

The AH Pro training teaches you how to grow and monetize such sites in various ways. Each blueprint details some method of increasing traffic and/or conversions, or scaling your business.

For example:

Three of the blueprints within Authority Hacker Pro. Note that The Authority Site System (reviewed here) can be bought separately.

Who is Authority Hacker Pro for?

The AH Pro sales page notes that the training is for three types of people…

You will find all three types within the private AH Pro community – 2400+ members as of this writing – but my impression is that it’s mostly website owners who sign up for the training.

From the AH Pro sales page

In terms of what types of sites these tactics will work best on, while our main focus is affiliate websites, you’ll find useful tactics for a wide range of website types, including eCommerce, General blogs, Product Websites and Local Business Websites.

One thing most AH Pro students have in common is that they already have some solid experience with digital marketing

In particular, they come to the AH Pro training with decent knowledge of topics such as…

Many of them learn those basics from Authority Hacker’s beginner-friendly training – The Authority Site System – which is included in Authority Hacker Pro but can also be bought separately.

They come to Authority Hacker Pro looking to take things to the next level. For example, they might be aiming to…

  • Boost their affiliate or display ad income
  • Effectively market their own products
  • Capture more leads
  • Get more backlinks
  • Speed up their website
  • Optimize their SEO efforts
  • Build a team
  • Outsource more effectively
  • Sell their website

In case I haven’t made it clear enough already: Authority Hacker Pro is advanced digital marketing training and therefore not ideal for newbies.

IMO, you should only sign up for this training if your website is already earning $1000’s per month and you’re looking to take it to the next level.

And as AH Pro students point out, it definitely takes work to implement the training and achieve success…

Overall you need to be ready to work. This course isn’t for someone who wants a quick answer. However, if you put in the very detailed course to work, you will see that in about 12 to 24 months you can have either full-time or part-time income replacement from your job.

Sa ElSa El

it’s a great course best suited for someone who really is committed to growing and scaling their niche website.

Does Authority Hacker Pro have a good reputation?

Yes.

Authority Hacker has been around since 2013 and they’ve built an impressive reputation in the internet marketing world.

The owners and founders of Authority Hacker – Gael Breton and Mark Webster – have received praise from big names like Ahrefs, Miles Beckler, and Noah Kagan…

Authority Hacker testimonial Noah Kagan
Authority Hacker testimonial Tim Soulo Ahrefs
Authority Hacker testimonial Miles Beckler

The Authority Hacker podcast has also received many positive reviews over the years…

Authority Hacker podcast

Google around for a while and you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone saying a bad word about Gael, Mark or Authority Hacker.

More importantly, these guys walk their talk, as this AH Pro student attests to…

The first pro I want to give to Authority Hacker is that these guys are constantly building new sites from the ground up, just like me. They know precisely what it is like to take a site with nothing and build it up. They have done it dozens of times. An inside view of the course would be Mark showing you his screen as he builds his brand new site. I found this very helpful.

Mario MusaMario Musa

Lastly, Authority Hacker’s training programs – including AH Pro – are simply top notch. I review lots of online business courses and few come close to the quality the Authority Hacker guys manage to achieve and maintain.

But don’t just take my word for it…

Are Authority Hacker Pro students getting results?

Usually when I evaluate an online business course I look to see how many students it has helped go from zero to hero.

But it seems most people who sign up for Authority Hacker Pro are already quite successful, and are looking for AH Pro to boost their business even further.

Many of those high-level entrepreneurs end up giving the training a glowing review.

For example…

We regularly reach out to students of Authority Hacker Pro, asking for their honest feedback about the course. And we find their feedback to be almost entirely positive 🤩

For example…

I'm usually pretty skeptical about these types of courses, but I can tell you that their system helped me build an affiliate site that has made over $2mil to date.

Sarah LevySarah Levy

I took the Authority Hacker course and applied the principles to my previous eCommerce site to pivot it to affiliate. Fast forward 18 months, and I've made multiple 6 figures USD from this site. I've also been able to build another site from scratch which is doing very well. All in all, the best investment I've ever made in my life!

Validated ReviewerValidated Reviewer

This course is for someone who is ready to change their life. I’ve been able to build my affiliate marketing business to $75,000 per month, but it was a long road to get there. If I could do it all over again, Authority Hacker Pro would have been the first course I purchased.

Sa ElSa El

Thanks in part to the Authority Hacker training, about a year after starting our site we were earning $17-20k per month, and after another several months we were up to $50k/month.

Alex GoldbergAlex Goldberg

How much does Authority Hacker Pro cost?

There are two pricing options for Authority Hacker Pro

  • One payment of $2,997
  • 12 payments of $297 ($3,564 total)

Authority Hacker Pro Platinum also has two pricing options…

  • One payment of $5,997
  • 12 payments of $597 ($7,164 total)

I’ll cover the differences between Pro and Pro Platinum further down, but basically with the latter you also get access to an SOP Library, Live Mastermind Calls, Hot-Seat Events, and a private community on Discord.

Regardless of which option you choose…

Know that there are many paid tools and services recommended within the training, and how much you will need to spend to implement what you learn depends on which blueprints you’re following.

For example, you can’t follow the Keyword Research Blueprint without an Ahrefs subscription, which starts at $99/month. And the Giveaways Blueprint requires a subscription to Gleam.io, which costs $97/month.

This underscores that the AH Pro training is for advanced online marketers who can afford to invest in premium tools and services to grow their business.

If you’re serious about implementing everything you learn in the AH Pro blueprints, expect to spend $100’s or even $1000’s beyond the cost of the training itself.

Here’s the official word on additional costs within AH Pro…

There will be several tools recommended throughout the course. We are very careful to ensure that you get the best value for money and use the same tools throughout to ensure consistency and keep the price down.

The amount of money spent on tools will vary between blueprints, but we will try to outline clearly what will be expected of you before you partake in each blueprint.

We also make use of free tools throughout the blueprints.

Authority Hacker Pro Discount?

I’ve been following Authority Hacker for several years and have yet to see them offer a straight-up discount for AH Pro.

Unless you count the $$$ you save by paying for the training all at once instead of going with the monthly payment plan.

However, if you’ve previously bought The Authority Site System and wish to upgrade to Pro, contact the Authority Hacker support team and they will give you a discount for the upgrade

As a member of Authority Hacker Pro, you will also get access to a discounts page with exclusive software and service discounts.

For example:

  • 20% off ProBlogger job listing
  • 50% off Mailshake outreach software
  • 50% off WordAgents content creation

Refund Policy

Authority Hacker Pro comes with a 30-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee.

As they put it on the AH Pro sales page…

If you don’t get life-changing value out of the course, if you don’t have time to implement it, or even if you don’t like the font we use in the lessons, we will give you a full refund.

Simply email us within 30 days of purchase and we’ll give you a FULL refund.

I’ve yet to hear of anyone having an issue getting a requested refund from Authority Hacker, so this refund policy is solid.

How is the program structured?

Here’s how Authority Hacker Pro Platinum looks once you’re logged in (the layout of AH Pro is very similar)…

Authority Hacker Pro platinum dashboard

The full list of blueprints you get access to inside Pro…

You can also download 100+ copy/paste marketing templates, automations, landing pages, workflow systems and hiring plans.

And of course you get access to the AH Pro private community on Facebook…

Authority Hacker Pro Platinum

You get all the above with AH Pro Platinum, plus a few juicy extras…

Authority Hacker Pro Platinum features

Platinum members also get access to a private Discord server 😎

I’d say Platinum is worth it if you already have a site that’s earning $5000+ per month, you have a few team members in place, and you’re looking to get to the next level fast.

If you’re on the fence, my advice would be to stick with the regular AH Pro training. It will take you a long time to squeeze all the value out of that, and you can always upgrade to Platinum later if you want more.

Green Lights 🟢

Based on my research and submitted student reviews, here are several things to like about Authority Hacker Pro:

  • Used by many high-level digital marketers.
  • Step-by-step practical blueprints.
  • Includes many templates and SOPs.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Mark and Gael are the real deal.
  • Active and helpful private community.
  • Comprehensive training.
  • Lifetime access.
  • No fluff.
  • Regular updates.

Red Flags 🚩

A few things about Authority Hacker Pro that might give you pause:

  • Only open once or twice a year (unless you upgrade from TASS).
  • So much content it can be overwhelming.
  • Some blueprints becoming outdated.

Other things you should know

  • Mark and Gael are known for sticking to “white hat” marketing strategies. If you want something more grey or black hat, you’ll need to look elsewhere.
  • You get full access to all the blueprints when you sign up. No drip feeding.
  • Authority Hacker Pro is only open for enrollment once or twice a year (though you can access it at any time by upgrading your purchase of TASS). If you want to know when the doors are fully open again, sign up to my weekly newsletter below and I’ll be sure to announce it in there…

Should you join Authority Hacker Pro?

Words from the AH Pro sales page…

As a general rule of thumb, we recommend this course to people who are already steadily earning over $1,000 a month with an existing website and have good foundational online marketing knowledge.

While I think Authority Hacker Pro is amazing overall, I believe it is best suited for authority site owners who are earning more like $3000+ each month.

Anything less than that and IMO you’d be better off starting with The Authority Site System (reviewed here) and upgrading to Pro later, once you’ve mastered the basics.

AH Pro is the type of training you dive into once you’ve already achieved some decent success and are ready to level up 🚀

But make sure you have time set aside to make the most of it…

“On average though, each blueprint will take around 2-3 weeks to go through and implement working at a steady 2-3 hour a day pace.”

– from an older version of the AH Pro sales page

If you already have contractors or employees working on your website, you might want to give them access to Authority Hacker Pro and have them go through certain blueprints and implement what they learn. The Writer Training Blueprint is perfect for this.

Starting Here & Developing Here

The course is extensive. Mark and Gael start you from ground zero. It has been fantastic for my girlfriend who has absolutely no knowledge about online marketing or affiliate marketing.

In addition, they show you how to write and the importance of doing your research beforehand and as you continue on your journey. So, if you haven’t attended university or taken any courses about writing, Mark does an amazing job of explaining how to write great content.

For myself, I really like how they show you how to use Ahrefs and how to set up your website. I struggle with creating a website.

They continue to provide useful case studies and bring on interesting guests who are in the trenches or have adapted their approach with AI tools or other resources.

Ahrefs definitely adds useful content. Sometimes the YouTube videos are a bit too long.

Pros and Cons

  • The simplicity of the course. They laid out everything.
  • Regular updates about changes in affiliate marketing.
  • They continue to add material on YouTube.
  • Sometimes a bit too slow.
  • The number of emails to upgrade.

Authority Hacker Pro Review

I purchased the lifetime membership and still refer to the Dashboard from time to time and engage with the community, some 3+ years after completing it.

The course consists of ‘Blueprints’ for each topic, and each Blueprint has 5-10 video tutorials covering each topic in-depth. Arguably the best feature of this course was the level of detail in the ‘how to’ explanation. For example, how to set up and outreach backlink campaigns, how to perform XYZ type of research, etc.

I would say for anyone with less than 2 years experience the course covers pretty much all of the topics you could need, and it will definately accelerate your learning.

The main downside is often the case as with any course… If you are using slightly different systems, servers, or software you could hit a stumbling block as your set up may not match what you were seeing within the video walkthrough.

This happened to me a few times as I was using a different WordPress theme, so I could not take advantage of the in-house code the guys had written. Or maybe you already have a host and the training walks through a different provider. But having said that, you can easily work around 95% of these issues.

Pros and Cons

  • Gael and Mark are very engaging and easy to follow.
  • There's plenty of advice for beginner to intermediate level, with some advanced tips.
  • Their lifetime access and community are great.
  • At the time of following the course, I had no issues with any of it.

A Well-Structured Course to Start in Affiliate Marketing

In short, this is the best SEO/affiliate marketing course I’ve taken so far. After dabbling with various ‘SEO gurus’ on YouTube and trying out a few low-cost learning options (including DIY), I came across a review article about The Authority Hacker and TASS.

I was instantly drawn to the depth and structure of their content. This course breaks down the complex process of creating an affiliate site into manageable, well-coordinated steps.

Whilst I am still in the early stages of the SEO and affiliate journey, I already see how this course has given me the foundations to build a successful business.

Pros and Cons

  • The course structure and step-by-step approach for creating an affiliate site.
  • Lifetime access with ongoing updates as the market evolves.
  • Support from the Authority Hacker team and community.
  • The upfront investment - it feels risky to commit this amount of money (for the course and other tools) when you don't know if is going to work. But I guess that's business, and you get what you pay for!

Definitely not a get-rich-quick scheme

I bought the Authority Hacker course last year (June 2021) and have been following (and still following) techniques from this course and implementing those on my site.

I bought the Authority Hacker course because I was looking for an effective, efficient, and safe way to create and grow a website from scratch and make money. I was looking for something that requires hard work and would develop my skills, not a “get rich quick scheme” course. I was interested in developing my SEO skills in case my site wasn’t profitable. That way I could find a job in this industry.

I have built a profitable blog by following this course. I got a return on all the money I invested on my site (including the course) in seven months since I first bought it. Till today, I’m getting profits from my blog.

My main site got hit by a core Google Update (because of my poor content). I joined the AH community meetings and calls. I’ve done a lot of changes to the site, although the ranking still hasn’t come up. I managed to build another authority site in a different niche, and it is performing better than my main one.

My advice: Follow Authority Hacker step by step, and don’t do anything different. Every time I did something different, I ended up spending more time rolling it back.

Pros and Cons

  • Mentors.
  • In-depth trainings.
  • Community.
  • The price.

Pricey, But Extremely In-Depth and Well-Structured

I had an excellent experience with the Authority Hacker course. The lessons are incredibly in-depth and organized logically, bringing you through niche research, site structure and design, working with authors and publishing posts, and then to SEO and outreach. I found the sections on setting up Mailshake and using Hunter.io very helpful – there’s no way I would have figured that out on my own.

The course creators update the content frequently. Some of the core principles remain the same, e.g. types of posts, how to format images, etc., but since affiliate marketing changes a lot, the content is often updated.

The Facebook group is helpful, too. There were occasions when my questions weren’t answered as well as I’d like. Still, on the whole, the community is very helpful. I think they recently hired someone on their end to answer more questions.

The biggest “con” is that it’s vastly expensive. There are other courses that are a couple hundred dollars, and those are a lot more accessible for most people. TASS is worth the price tag, but only if you’re a “stick-with-it” type. It takes times to build a site, so it can be a tremendous investment if you’re on the fence about affiliate marketing.

Overall, I gave the course very high marks as it taught me 99% of everything I needed to know. I used TASS to build a site on a hobby of mine, and I sold it three years later for $80,000. I’ve since built other sites that bring in money every month. I hope to sell them, too.

Pros and Cons

  • The course has dozens of videos, and you can go from knowing nothing to running a fully-developed blog (as I did).
  • Lessons and course content are regularly updated.
  • The course works - I obtained great results with it.
  • The course was pricey, about $1,800 at the time. That's a lot of money, especially if you are unsure about building a website.
  • It takes time to build a site. There are courses that sell partially-made websites and that can be a better option for some people.
  • Now in affiliate marketing you have to do much more for much less. This isn't the fault of the course creators, but it's worth noting. It was much easier to rank for keywords a few years ago.

A Comprehensive Course on Building & Monetizing Websites

I’ve followed the Authority Hacker guys for years and listened to their podcasts regularly. You can get a lot out of their free content, but their course puts everything together in a very holistic format.

The course has a great layout. It doesn’t go in sequential order, so you can pick whatever module you want to learn when you need to. I’ve gone through the majority of the modules, but I revisit those most important to me at times. For example, the modules on keyword research, content creation, and link building were very informative at the beginning of my site-building journey. I want to focus more on my email list soon, so I’ll go through their modules on building an email list and email marketing.

In terms of tools that I like that were included in the course, I like their Notion checklists that you can check off indicating what work you’ve done. There are so many things you can do in digital marketing that it can be really overwhelming, which can lead to you taking no action at all. Having a checklist like this keeps you on track to progress by telling you what you need to do next.

The Authority Hacker community is great, but it’s a Facebook group, which isn’t the best platform for a community in my opinion. I’d prefer a forum, as it’s much easier to access older posts.

I didn’t need help from their customer support much, but from the couple of times I dealt with them, they were great and resolved my issue quickly.

Overall, I can highly recommend the course if you have the time and a budget to implement the strategies taught within it.

Pros and Cons

  • It covers everything you need to know to have a successful website.
  • It has a private Facebook group where you can ask questions and be part of a community of like-minded website builders.
  • The individual lessons are direct and to the point.
  • Implementing the course strategies can take a very long time and requires a ton of work and dedication. That's not really a knock on the course, but the reality of this industry.
  • It's a big investment that will likely take a long time to pay off.
  • You can implement the strategies in this course by doing all the work yourself. However, you'll have a much higher chance of success if you have a budget to spend.

Excellent course work

I purchased the Authority Hacker Pro training in 2021. This was a long and very comprehensive course, but that turned out to be a big benefit. The over-the-shoulder style of training videos are very well scripted and I appreciated that the videos were broken down into short pieces.

The results I was able to get from their methods have been very good. My company now ranks on page 1 of SERPs for some very competitive keywords related to “social media marketing agency” which is a primary focus of the business. We have received a fairly large number of leads that we have been able to turn into clients because of this.

Pros and Cons

  • Videos were short but thorough
  • Their method works well
  • SEO is a lot of work :)

I doubled my traffic in 4 months with this course

I am currently using the Authority Hacker Pro course and have implemented a lot of the training (they call them Blueprints). As a result of implementing what I learned in the course, the traffic to my site has doubled in 4 months. After 12 months, I replaced my job income and I’m now working full-time on my site.

The training is structured in a way to pass on information to the student who can then implement that knowledge and teach a team of writers or VAs to grow and scale their niche website fast. There are many templates and downloadable guides that can be customized to suit each niche.

Oh, the cost. I wish it was cheaper. My niche site has grown quicker than it could have done without the course so, in the long term, it will pay for itself many times over.

Overall, it’s a great course best suited for someone who really is committed to growing and scaling their niche website.

Pros and Cons

  • Step by step format for learning what can be complicated subjects.
  • The format to learn information so you can teach it to someone else to scale the growth.
  • Editable templates that can be adapted to any niche.
  • The cost.

Worth every penny

The Authority Hacker Pro course which I’m registered for since April 2020 was worth every penny to me. Here’s what I like most:

– Free Mentor Program
This is not a standard program after registering. The AH team created this 1 to 1 mentor program for helping unsuccessful members. I joined it after my site was affected by the Google Algorithm update in Nov 2020. One of the top AH team members audited my site from scratch and gave me free expert advice that I didn’t realize before. And after 3 months of implementation, my site recovered around 80% of traffic.

– Deeper Knowledge
AH Pro is divided into multiple deeper modules, from keyword research, types of content, and how to write them with detailed guidelines, HARO, Skyscraper, Guest Post…

– T-shirt Gift
I got many premium online courses but never received a physical gift as the AH team sent me. Although it’s not expensive, they’ve created a real relationship with new members.

– Free Updates
New modules are added and knowledge is updated for free. I didn’t have to spend $249 more on the Core Web Vitals module. All I do is relax and wait for the publish date in my dashboard.

However, there are some points that I don’t like…

– Highly Expensive
At the time I registered, it cost around $1,500. Fortunately, they have a monthly plan for 12 payments which is more budget-friendly (although the price is higher in total).

– Overloaded Knowledge
The first time I upgraded to AH Pro, I was overloaded and didn’t know where to start. The dashboard looked like a buffet where I can pick any favorite food I want.

– Gael’s Non-Native Accent
I’m not a native English speaker myself and have been struggling with Gael’s French accent. No offense intended, but I still need to use the captions to understand his videos.

Pros and Cons

  • Free mentor program.
  • Deeper knowledge.
  • T-shirt gift.
  • Highly expensive.
  • Overloaded knowledge.
  • Gael's non-native accent.

An excellent foundation for content marketing

I’ve been a professional SEO for years, so I had a lot of knowledge before purchasing the course. After listening to the AH podcast for over a year, I finally whipped out my credit card for their course.

Authority Hackers provided a ton of value for me despite my background because of how thorough its courses are. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, the instructors go deep enough on each topic to really learn. Instead of just taking the course from start to finish, I often use it as a reference when I want to improve something specific (i.e. on-page SEO, internal linking, etc.) to glean best practices. I found the page-speed tips especially helpful as Google started to make this a ranking factor.

I also appreciate that the AH team updates their modules regularly given how fast Google changes its algorithm.

Thanks in part to the Authority Hacker training, about a year after starting our site we were earning $17-20k per month, and after another several months we were up to $50k/month.

Pros and Cons

  • Bite-sized lessons.
  • Easy to navigate if you want to dive deep on a particular topic (and skip others).
  • Engaging instructors who get right to the point.
  • Somewhat pricier than other SEO courses.
  • Very long, so I recommend jumping between modules.
  • Not enough case studies.

Best course I’ve bought

Authority Hacker is one of many courses I have purchased and I can confidently say it is worth every penny.

While there are no secret hacks or tricks, the course shows you how to set up and then operate an affiliate site from A to Z.

I have been able to build my own site to 5 figures monthly by following the strategies on keyword research, link building and on-site SEO.

The course goes in depth and the material is laid out in an easy to digest format with a mix of video and text.

It isn’t cheap but if you are able to buy this course I recommend it!

Pros and Cons

  • Tons of content from beginner to advanced.
  • Easy to navigate.
  • Great keyword research and link building strategies.
  • Some videos are extremely long.

This is THE program to join if you're serious about it

For me, this course was too technical. I don’t know what I expected, but this wasn’t it. Having said that, you can tell that these guys REALLY know what they’re doing and that if you follow this model you WILL have results.

My overall experience was that without any SEO or SEM training forthright, I was just lost throughout. This is NOT a beginner’s course and if you have no technological skills… you WILL be lost.

Pros and Cons

  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven track record.
  • Presented in a proper step-by-step methodology.
  • The technical aspect.
  • The fact that you literally will have to wait for the fruits of your labor.

Authority Hacker Pro Review

After going through a job transition due to Covid, affiliate marketing became an area that I was interested in pursuing as a full-time career. I knew that I didn’t have the knowledge to make it work though, so I started looking into several different courses that could get me on the right path. Once I reviewed my options, I decided to join the Authority Hacker Pro course, created by Mark Webster and Gael Breton.

It’s been an incredible journey over the last year and a half, and while I’m not where I’d like to be just yet, I give credit to AH Pro for the wins I’ve seen so far. The information in the blueprints is very thorough and explained in a way that’s easy to understand, even if you’re a complete beginner. One of my favorite aspects, though, is the community Facebook group. All members of the course have access to it, and it’s a great way to get questions answered, hear about success stories, and stay connected to like-minded people.

I wouldn’t say that I’ve built a successful affiliate marketing business from it yet, but I’m certainly in the process of doing so. The course provides all of the tools an individual needs in order to succeed – whether or not you’re successful comes down to how well you’re able to implement the techniques and stay disciplined through the highs and lows.

Pros and Cons

  • Extensive reservoir of content that's constantly being updated.
  • The AH Pro team is very accessible and willing to answer questions.
  • Information is presented in a way that's easy to follow and easy to apply.
  • It's quite expensive to purchase.

Best Course For Replacing Your Job

Overall you need to be ready to work. This course isn’t for someone who wants a quick answer. However, if you put in the very detailed course to work, you will see that in about 12 to 24 months you can have either full-time or part-time income replacement from your job.

This course is for someone who is ready to change their life. I’ve been able to build my affiliate marketing business to $75,000+ per month, but it was a long road to get there. If I could do it all over again, Authority Hacker Pro would have been the first course I purchased.

Pros and Cons

  • The very specific and easy-to-follow steps.
  • The realistic expectations given in the course.
  • Most people won't finish it... less competition.

I made over $2mil with this course

I bought the AH Pro course years ago. I was probably in the first round of people who bought it. I’ve since got access to TASS but it’s obviously not nearly as advanced as the original training.

I’m usually pretty skeptical about these types of courses, but I can tell you that their system helped me build an affiliate site that has made over $2mil to date. While I owe most of that to AH Pro, a big part of it was that I hit on a trend around the same time I was taking the course. So I sort of stumbled into my niche.

What I like about Gael and Mark is that they don’t regurgitate the same BS as every other “SEO” person does. They also go into much more than just SEO and talk about things like email marketing and funnels. At the time I took the course, they also were running a very successful health blog so it was nice to see that the system actually worked. I do wish they still had more public case studies.

What I didn’t like is that they weren’t consistent with releasing new content. But I can’t really complain too much based on the results I got 🙂

Pros and Cons

  • They don't regurgitate the same BS as every other "SEO" person does.
  • They had a successful health blog so it was nice to see that the system actually worked.
  • Much more than just SEO; they talk about things like email marketing and funnels.
  • They weren't consistent with releasing new content.

AH Pro Changed My Life

I joined AH Pro a couple of years ago. With some experience with building an eCommerce site (1yr old) but nothing related to affiliate marketing. I took the Authority Hacker course and applied the principles to my previous eCommerce site to pivot it to affiliate.

Fast forward 18 months, and I’ve made multiple 6 figures USD from this site. I’ve also been able to build another site from scratch which is doing very well. All in all, the best investment I’ve ever made in my life!

Pros and Cons

  • Excellent detailed instructions.
  • Walkthrough examples on video.
  • The community.
  • Expensive.
  • Lacks very advanced technical SEO.

Success is just an hour doing it daily

I have been a student of Authority Hacker since 2017 or 2018. I have spent over $11,000 on other SEO-related courses, but Authority Hacker has been the most comprehensive. Not one SEO course comes close to what they have to offer!

Just the SOPs alone are more than enough to get your money back. Take for example the HARO SOP. They tell you what should be in the HARO template, how to respond to journalists, what to look out for, what is the format to respond that will optimize the chances of getting featured, how to find the answers, etc.

All in all, Authority Hacker is there to ensure your success. If you are unsuccessful, most probably you did not take action or you gave up halfway.

Pros and Cons

  • The detailed SOPs given for each blueprint.
  • Any new course(s) are free after we signed up.
  • The truth sharing about online marketing by Gael and Mark.
  • Too much to follow. Hahaha.

The Best Investment for your Online Business

The course has many options as to what to focus on – developing an editorial team, link building, and even an “overall” one that covers an overview of how to create an online business centered around SEO.

The material is very clear and helpful, and following this course has guided me and my team into having a successful portfolio of sites. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn how to build sites focused on getting SEO traffic.

Pros and Cons

  • Comprehensive.
  • Clear steps.
  • Good community.
  • Clunky log in sometimes?

Fluff-free link building advice

This is a pretty solid course from the guys at Authority Hacker. There isn’t a great deal of courses related to link building out there, and many of the ones that are, aren’t very actionable. This isn’t one of them!

It is a very comprehensive course, and while I’ve been doing link building for a number of years, it helped give me a bit more clarity when it came specifically to the “shotgun skyscraper” approach. Some nuggets of wisdom in there which helped enhance how I and the team do things – and I imagine for a beginner it’ll prove even more useful.

Pros and Cons

  • Very professional layout and production of the course.
  • Practical approach, as opposed to some SEOs teaching link building who are just talking very high level theory, going round in circles, or just saying things like "don't sound like a link builder when doing outreach".
  • They practice what they preach.
  • Not the cheapest – will be out of financial reach to many.
  • There are certain nuances about doing outreach they didn't teach – but that is difficult to do, and something I've had to figure out in my own agency.

A comprehensive and valuable training program

Authority Hacker Pro is a valuable and comprehensive training program for (aspiring) online marketers. I like how it is set up with different Blueprints on a diverse set of topics, like on-page SEO, building a content team, keyword research, etc.

Someone looking to build a website for passive income through affiliate marketing will find this course useful, but honestly, I feel this course is valuable for everyone that wants to make his or her website a success. I work as a freelance SEO/copywriter and I learned a lot from this course to improve my own website and those of my clients.

The true value of AH Pro lies in how detailed and extensive it is. It goes far beyond SEO and covers things like content promotion, email marketing, creating lead magnets, setting up evergreen funnels, etc. Basically, you get to dive into all the topics that can make a website successful.

One of the big advantages of AH Pro is that the creators make sure it is always up to date. I enrolled a few years ago and the course has been restructured and updated a few times since then. For example, Google was rolling out the Core Web Vitals update and the guys at AH created a separate Blueprint detailing how to make your website score better in Core Web Vitals.

I’d recommend this course to anyone wanting to boost the success of their site to become a true authority site. I can’t compare it to any other type of similar online marketing training program, because this is the only one I ever enrolled in. There is also no need to look for another course, because you will find everything you need in this one.

Pros and Cons

  • Very comprehensive and detailed.
  • Always up to date.

Probably the best course you can ever spend your money on

The Authority Hacker courses are amazing, and both communities that go with them are excellent (there is a separate group for the Pro members).

I love that the courses and the blueprints are continuously updated to reflect changes in Google, Amazon, or the industry in general. You could say that it is a completely different course today than 4 years ago when I joined.

The Pro course offers more advanced strategies and tactics that are useful for taking your site from essentially a small (beginner) site to building a real business on the back of it. From the editorial system blueprints to funnel building or email marketing, you will find it here. There is even a blueprint for selling your site.

Essentially the Pro course gives you a library of actionable and easy-to-follow “how-to’s” on how to build a digital media company. And that is exactly what I am doing at the moment. I own and operate 2 sites, while also running a link-building agency. The link building I do for my own sites is the same I offer for our clients. How we do things are heavily influenced by the blueprints in the Authority Hacker Pro course. Even our client-facing HARO tracking dashboard is built on top of the Authority Hacker HARO blueprint.

Pros and Cons

  • Actionable.
  • The creators actually do what they teach themselves.
  • The community is beyond any other I ever experienced.

The investment earned back quickly, highly recommend

I highly recommend the Pro course. We purchased the last release and it’s well worth the money (we paid monthly too). None of our sites are hitting $10k but the processes, tips, and community have made it worth it. We haven’t even consumed all the lessons yet – we started with what was important to us and are watching lessons as the need arises.

The FB group is awesome as well, lots more content released there plus valuable discussions from people who know a lot more than I do. In short, we went back and forth on buying this – have been AH fans for a while but the course isn’t cheap.

However, I do feel like it’s worth the money, and the systems we’ve put in place after watching lessons, plus the things we’ve learned have definitely made it worth it (and almost certainly helped us recoup the investment).

Pros and Cons

  • The user interface. Very easy to stop and pick back up where you left off.
  • The vast amount of content. Several months in and still haven't gotten through all of it.
  • Simple to make your investment back if you really buckle down and execute what you learn.
  • A bit pricey upfront, but the investment was made back fairly quickly.
  • Can be overwhelming at times, you just need to limit yourself and not dive in over your head. One step at a time.

Learning SEO Changed My Entire Business

Prior to taking the Authority Hacker course, I owned a small marketing agency. It’s been over a year since my purchase, and as of now, I have a growing SEO agency, with digital marketing accounting for probably 90% of my income.

The training is very thorough. I went from knowing very little about SEO in all aspects to now doing SEO for almost 20 clients, monthly. I’ve also just recently built my very first authority website, where I’m getting to put the full training to use.

The most useful part of the Authority Hacker training is about link building. Their strategies for shotgun skyscraper (and HARO) work very well. Even though many more people utilize strategies like these nowadays, I’ve still been able to acquire numerous high domain rating links in a multitude of industries.

Pros and Cons

  • Very thorough training. Makes me feel like I am now very competent in SEO.
  • The Authority Site System course (they call it a "blueprint") is incredible. Everything I needed.
  • The team from Authority Hacker took time to review what I'd learned with me. Really cool.
  • Some of the courses probably give you a little too much info. Course videos could be shorter.
  • Not all of the courses (blueprints) are as valuable as The Authority Site System and link building courses. They're still nice to have as extra info, but aren't as helpful for generating income.
  • One problem I've seen is because software updates so regularly, parts of the training are slightly outdated, even though they were made recently. This hasn't been a huge problem, but more of a minor annoyance at times.

Well worth the money

I’ve been a member of Authority Hacker Pro since April 2021. While I’m still in the process of building a successful website, this course has already proven pivotal in helping me to gradually build an authoritative website. Mainly, it has been fantastic at steering me through the process and highlighting any potential mistakes. I genuinely believe Authority Hacker Pro will change my life for the better and provide a life for my children that I was never able to have.

While Authority Hacker has a huge range of helpful tools, templates, and how-to guides, the most integral and valuable source of information is within Authority Hacker Pro’s community. Being able to reach out to industry experts and professionals to gain their insight and support is a huge advantage for any beginner, as well as business owners.

Several times I’ve had to reach out to other members of the community. And on occasions, just speaking to someone with more experience has prevented me from making severe, detrimental mistakes. For me, being able to make contacts in the affiliate marketing space and make real connections has been a particular highlight. I find that because it’s a closed, private community, everyone is able to be more relaxed and speak on friendlier terms.

If you’re considering joining Authority Hacker Pro and you’re a beginner looking to build your website from scratch, then the course may not be the best option for you at the moment. Instead, try their Authority Site System which is specifically designed for this purpose.

As a beginner, I’ve primarily used their TASS blueprints and community. Mainly I’ve found that there are still individuals with more expertise and experience than myself within this group. I personally find it easier to speak in the TASS group compared to the Pro group. However, this could be because of where I am currently at, in terms of the process for building an authoritative website.

As a beginner, transitioning from The Authority Site System to Authority Hacker Pro is a steep learning curve. While TASS does a great job in covering the foundations, Authority Hacker Pro sometimes misses opportunities to go into greater detail and depth on a specific topic.

For example, in their Authority Site System blueprints, they cover how to do link building using either HARO, Guest Posting or Skyscraper. However, in Authority Hacker Pro, while they delve a little deeper into each link building method, there’s a limited amount of content on how to expand this link building method, such as hiring or outsourcing.

Luckily, they do have their helpful support system in place which is great for elaborating on key pieces of information you need.

Pros and Cons

  • Affordable and great value for money.
  • Community and support.
  • Always honest about their intentions. No BS. Straight to the point.
  • Daunting for beginners.
  • Sometimes lacks details.

Great course to take income to the next level

I’ve gone through a number of courses over the years and Authority Hacker Pro has got to be one of my top courses.

The content is high quality and structured in a way so that it’s easy to understand and implement. All modules take you step by step, whether it’s creating a lead magnet, improving on-page SEO, or following one of the link-building methods. The video quality is incredibly high, even more so when you compare it to some of the alternatives.

It’s clear after watching the videos and speaking to the guys at Authority Hacker, they know what they are talking about and practice what they teach. A great feature of the course is the Facebook community you get access to, which is full of knowledgeable and like-minded people.

If someone is looking to build, scale and eventually sell their affiliate websites, this course is perfect.

Pros and Cons

  • The high quality of the videos.
  • The content is updated as often as possible.
  • Modules that cover many elements of building an authority website.
  • It would be great to see even more content being produced.

Been going through AH for 1 month. Overall an excellent investment!

My overall experience with this course has been great so far. I completed the Core Web Vitals module recently and was able to get my mobile score from red to mid yellow. I have yet to go through all the modules, but after scanning through the courses and videos – I found the lessons to be very high quality and practical, where you can start taking action right away.

Customer support and the Facebook community are excellent. Authority Hacker has a great team and good people working in the company. Overall I am finding this to be an investment and learning a lot.

Pros and Cons

  • The instructor gives you hard facts and real-life examples and doesn't try to sugarcoat anything.
  • Lessons are practical, and you can take action immediately.
  • Great community where people will help you.

1 Questions & Answers

  1. Hi Niall, great website with the details needed for someone like me, a newbie in the online market.
After reviewing your entire review for AH Pro, this part caught my attention and wonder if you can elaborate more or comment about it.

“Only open once or twice a year (unless you upgrade from TASS).”

I’m planning to get TASS but I noticed AH Pro included it the course hence this left me stuck. Does it mean that we can alternatively sign up for TASS and get PRO once we are ready anytime? Or does the limited time offer apply also to TASS members once the sign up period is over?

    “Some blueprints becoming outdated.”

Is it just part of the course itself or does it apply to others like the whole ecosystem? Such as Google updating its algorithm which affects everyone.

Appreciate if you could reply to the comment. Much thanks!

    • Hey Thomas, you should check with Authority Hacker themselves to be sure, but in the past they let TASS students upgrade to PRO at any time.

Regarding the updates, each blueprint is like a standalone course, and some of those become outdated over time. I just logged into PRO now though and it looks like they’ve removed some of the older blueprints and updated others. So right now at least everything in there seems to be well up to date.
