The core training is broken up into 13 modules and almost 100 lessons! Nearly all of the lessons are in text format, but there’s an occasional video lesson thrown in.
I found Write Your Way to $1k incredibly comprehensive for beginner training. It doesn’t seem to rush anything, taking the time to teach you the basics first, and then move on to things like clients and pitching.
There are also plenty of bonuses. Some lessons have downloadable checklists and templates included, and there are also extra materials such as:

Hi there, I live in Indonesia, Southeast Asia. Is this course still applicable for me as beginner writer?
Hi Ganggas. Yes, this works for beginner writers. The only caveat is that it is a course intended for native/fluent English speakers. Although that’s not such a big deal nowadays because you can use AI to improve your writing if you’re not fluent.
Hi there, I’m based in he UK and just wondered if much of the content would still be relevant for me? Thanks.
Hi Emma. Yes, of course. You would still be finding clients the same way.
Hello all,
Is this course heavily geared towards Americans or is it suitable for others as well? I’m British and wondering if I should search for a UK-based course.
Thanks.
Hi Jake. The course is suitable for non-Americans as well. Building a successful writing business is pretty much the same in the UK as it is in the US, though you can target British-based clients if you’re from the UK, will probably find it easier to connect with them.
Is this course applicable for an experienced, published author/writer?
Hi Paul. It is applicable if your goal is to become a freelance writer and need help with the business side of things, particularly finding and landing paid projects.
