If you want to know:
Then you’ve come to the right place.
Let’s get started.
Hey, I’m Niall Doherty.
I quit my last 9-to-5 job back in 2010.
Since then, I’ve earned my living online in various ways. Revenue for my latest business is at $1+ million and counting.
I’m on a mission to accurately rate and review all the best Amazon FBA courses. My team and I have spent 120+ hours investigating these courses and getting feedback from real students.
All that to say: we know a thing or two about Amazon FBA and making money online.
We’re on a mission to find the best Amazon FBA course, based on our own extensive research plus feedback from real students.
Freedom Ticket is one of the best FBA courses we’ve seen…
Kevin King’s Freedom Ticket is an online course that aims to teach you how to build an ecommerce business with Amazon FBA.
There are multiple strategies you can use for selling on Amazon, and Freedom Ticket teaches you specifically about private labeling. This is when you create your own branded products to sell on Amazon.
Here’s a video from the course telling you what you can expect…
Freedom Ticket aims to be a comprehensive course, teaching everything you need to know about selling physical products on Amazon with your own private label brand.
Some students have reported that the course is a bit too general and doesn’t go into enough detail, but it seems to be a solid introductory training that teaches sound fundamentals.
For the newbie sellers, it has sound content on how to get started, how to research, how to think about product selection, the details of selling. Good video content, and Kevin King is a very experienced seller.

Yes.
Judging by our research and the student reviews we’ve collected (see below), the praise for Freedom Ticket heavily outweighs the criticism.
The creator of the course, Kevin King, appears to be a well-respected and successful Amazon seller. He has reportedly built several Amazon FBA businesses which have generated millions of dollars in sales since 2015.
Freedom Ticket is also the official training program of Helium 10, a highly-rated all-in-one software for building a business on Amazon.
It’s easy to find people praising Freedom Ticket, but I had a hard time finding students reporting that they’d achieved significant results from following the training.
One of the best testimonials is this short video from 2019, where a student claims to have doubled his revenue to $50,000 within 3 months of taking the training…
For such a highly-praised and popular course, I would have expected to see far more testimonials like the above during my research. But such reports seem to be rare for students of Freedom Ticket.
You can get access for free with a $39/month subscription to Helium 10, which is a highly rated software toolset for Amazon sellers. Check out available subscription plans here.
Helium 10 is a popular all-in-one software commonly used by Amazon sellers. It has over 20 tools in product and keyword research, listing optimization, operation, analytics, marketing, and more (details here).
Keep in mind that you’ll also need some money to buy inventory and possibly spend on advertising. The total amount you need depends on the product you’re planning to sell.
Additionally, if you’re following a private label strategy – which is taught in this course – you’ll likely need to invest more upfront then you would using some other Amazon strategies.
Within the Freedom Ticket training, Kevin King recommends you have a minimum of $5000 to kickstart your business.
Yes, there is a discount available for Freedom Ticket when you sign up for it via a Helium 10 membership.
Freedom Ticket comes with a 30-day “no questions asked” 100% money-back guarantee (source). The 30-day guarantee also applies for the Helium 10 suite of tools.
Here’s what Freedom Ticket 3.0 looks like once you log in to Helium 10 and enter the training…
Freedom Ticket used to be an eight-week course. You’d only get access to a single module per week, with no way of accelerating the progress. The course was structured this way to give you time to process all the info.
But with the latest version of the course you get access to everything at once. Freedom Ticket is now a 10-week course with over 150 modules.
The course wasn’t super-comprehensive in the past, but the new lessons seem to drastically improve that aspect. The course now seems to cover everything you need to start your own private label Amazon business.
There are also some bonuses. Every lesson comes with a PDF file that wraps it up, and some lessons come with additional documentation, when needed. However, I found it tricky to refer back to specific info due to a lack of a search function.
Besides more up-to-date material, Freedom Ticket 3.0 also brings English, Spanish, and German subtitles to all the video lessons.
The training mentions a Facebook group, but it seems to be a Helium 10 group rather than a Freedom Ticket group. Instead of finding it through a link, you need to provide details of your subscription to Helium 10 so they can invite you to join this group.
Based on my research and submitted student reviews, here are several things to like about Freedom Ticket:
A few things about Freedom Ticket that might give you pause:
From what I’ve seen, the vast majority of people who buy this course end up happy with their purchase, especially as they get it as part of their Helium 10 membership.
So it seems to be a solid investment if you’re committed to building an Amazon FBA business.
Just be aware that success with such training usually requires a significant amount of time and effort. (This is true for all types of online business.)

Here’s our top 5…
Whilst growing my online business, I also wanted to diversify my income streams and decided to look into Amazon FBA. I came across a toolset that included an FBA course called Freedom Ticket, which was included in my monthly subscription for Helium 10.
To be honest, it was a no-brainer. I was looking for the tools that Helium 10 provided anyway, and the course was included within the subscription. I had seen good reviews online, as well.
The course is extremely in-depth, and as a course creator myself, I could appreciate the time and effort Kevin King had gone through.
The course is modulated and there is a lot of content to get through. I have no bad words to say about the course. I was just under the impression that Amazon FBA would be a lot easier and I was not entirely comfortable with the white label model.
Also, at this time, my main business was beginning to take off and so I thought it best to cancel my subscription and focus my efforts on my website.
So in conclusion, I can’t report that I made a success of this, mainly due to other factors. If I were to explore the FBA route again, I would consider restarting my subscription.
Like any course, it is geared towards new and inexperienced sellers. That is the important part to note. There is nothing wrong with that. But if you already sell more than a million dollars like we do, then the course won’t help. There isn’t content where it will help you go from $1M to $10M. The real strategies used by big sellers are never disclosed.
For the newbie sellers, it has sound content on how to get started, how to research, how to think about product selection, the details of selling. Good video content, and Kevin King is a very experienced seller.
The type of content that isn’t shared are things like what type of Facebook campaigns have been tested, case studies of brands doing outside marketing, successful ManyChat flows, how some sellers are getting thousands of reviews in a short time. The stuff that really makes a difference for big sellers.
I did the video course during my gym-bike sessions. I do recommend it. I have access for free with Helium 10 membership which is a very powerful tool to sell on Amazon, one of the most popular, and it’s the one I definitively recommend you to test if you wish to get serious about it. Worth it.
However, I don’t think I would have paid 997 USD for this course (or any course) if it was not included with the tool membership.
It teaches all the basics about the very broad world of Amazon FBA – from beginner to expert level. If you have a medium level of Amazon FBA, you’ll find the first modules too easy, but you can jump to the lessons that interest you most. I also recommend the podcast of Helium 10 – Serious Seller Podcast – you have very good strategies there and it’s free.
Most people in the community agree that starting out with private label on Amazon is one of the more difficult business paths to choose from, compared to retail/online arbitrage or wholesale models. This course is all about the private label business model for selling on Amazon.com (USA).
It teaches fundamentals and covers pretty much everything you need to know to earn your first $25k revenue on Amazon. The course is centered around the Helium 10 ‘Platinum’ membership, and they recommend upgrading to the ‘Diamond’ level once $25k revenue is achieved.
Considering that it’s offered for free with the Helium 10 suite, you can get the monthly Helium 10 subscription for 2 months, take the course and decide if it’s for you.
Most people are coming from YouTube like I did and think an FBA business is passive income and it’s as easy as finding a factory and ordering some of what’s selling the most. This course gets into some high-level business theory that will help in the long run.

I paid $977 for this course and this was amazing value. The depth of training I haven’t seen anywhere else and now includes ProjectX.
This course can now be bought through Helium 10 and this makes it even more economical. I have done many Amazon courses but this is by far the most complete and goes very deep on crucial areas.
Love the detail Kevin shares; students benefit from his encyclopedic knowledge, and the course comes free with a certain subscription level to Helium 10.
Simply outstanding and I highly recommend it.
Note that completing this course should not be viewed as a sprint, best to consume the content at a measured pace.
Kevin King’s Freedom Ticket is as good as it gets! Super comprehensive. Kevin is one of the best pros when it comes to selling on Amazon.
The course has many modules and it covers everything you need to learn to avoid making costly mistakes. I’ve taken other courses before but there’s nothing that comes close to Freedom Ticket.
Kevin is amazing and having access to Helium 10 is great as well. I definitely recommend using Helium 10 and all the tools they have.
The course shows you how to find products and how to use Helium 10 software. You can also learn how to do keyword research and create great listings using scribbles. The podcast they have is great also.
This course helped me understand, step by step, the overall process and minute aspects of selling on Amazon FBA.
Overall, I learned that finding good suppliers may be MORE important than a good product in the long term. I understood that without adequate and efficient branding, buyers won’t come back for repeat business.
I already knew about some aspects, like how to build a listing, generate keywords, and develop good copyright however I still was able to sharpen those known skills with the help of Freedom Ticket.
This in-depth Amazon course targets both beginners and experienced sellers.
It took me 8 weeks to complete because of two reasons. First, it’s a long course that dives deep to educate all ins and outs of the private label model. Secondly, it bound me to do so by unlocking each week’s course materials only after the previous week went by. I liked this constraint as it made me really digest the knowledge instead of binge-watching the videos.
I took the course alongside selling on Amazon and found the content of the course very realistic and relevant. It lays emphasis on brand building, communication with suppliers, and competing for top rank on page one through listing optimization. It’s also regularly updated.
Multiple launching strategies are discussed and they are discussed in a lot more detail compared to another FBA course I’ve done (The Last Amazon Course).
Freedom Ticket is a bit expensive at $997, however, I got it for free along with my Helium 10 subscription. I found the videos a bit long and I believe they can be broken down into smaller segments. I highly recommend this course. Getting it with Helium 10 was a great decision.
This review is based on this course being free with a Helium 10 subscription. I would not purchase this course for the full price of 997 dollars.
If you are looking to sell on Amazon, you must have product research and other software in order to succeed. Helium 10 is a big name in the Amazon FBA software space and they offer a lot of value for their subscribers. In other words, you can’t go without it.
Luckily, this course comes free with a Helium 10 subscription. And since you need the software anyway, this course is virtually free which is amazing!
Kevin King is pretty famous in the Amazon space and is the creator of the course. The information he provides is pretty basic though. He doesn’t go into great detail, however, he does provide some very cool and unique insights here and there.
I would certainly stay away from this course at its full price. However, if you’re getting it free with Helium 10, I would certainly give it a try as you are likely to get some good info out of it!
If you are using Jungle Scout and are still looking for a course, I would highly recommend The Last Amazon Course by Brock Johnson. It is pretty much free and offers a lot more info!
Many self-proclaimed “Amazon Gurus” that I’ve come across are not the experts they claim to be. That said, Kevin King from Freedom Ticket is a true guru and master of the Amazon platform, with a great mind for business.
When I started learning about Amazon FBA, I learned from podcasts. I listened often to the AM/PM Podcast with Manny Coats, Follow the Data with Casey Gauss, and the EcomCrew with Mike and Dave. Kevin King was a guest on most of the podcasts I listened to and he always provided “golden nugget” tips.
Freedom Ticket was the one course I have gone through, as it’s included in the Helium10 software that I use for Amazon (also a great value btw). Freedom Ticket is taught by Kevin King, and he gives a great overview of starting an Amazon business and really sets you up for success.
He lays out all the groundwork for you, such as how to set up a business (legal entity) and how to handle cash flow and scale. He covers all the topics an Amazon seller needs to know about such as sourcing products to listing creation and launching. He teaches you how to build a real business and achieve long-term success as opposed to just selling a product.
I joined this course with the aim of learning about Amazon Private Label and later on provide these valuable services on freelance platforms and I am certainly not disappointed.
This course taught me how to find profitable products and opportunities in a competitive market, keyword research, finding quality suppliers, branding, PPC, creating an optimized listing, and everything about creating a successful Amazon business empire.
Either you are looking to sell on Amazon or provide your service on freelance marketplaces, this is the course that you shouldn’t miss out on.
The course was very insightful and easy to learn even for students like me. It is very detailed and beginner-friendly so it acted as my blueprint as a starting Amazon Virtual Assistant.
The step-by-step information was easy to understand and helped me in my job as an Amazon VA. The course familiarized me with the Amazon Seller platform and gave helpful tricks to find winning products. It is basically the A-Z of Amazon.
Does Freedom Ticket also teach doing Wholesale on Amazon?
Thanks
No, it’s all about private label.
Hello –
I am new to the online sales world. I had a retail store but due to covid I was forced to close the brick and mortar. I rent a small booth at the local antique shop but I am not creating the income needed to sustain it.
I am very interested in taking this course. However, I am curious about the start-up costs of getting inventory. Does your course make recommendations? I feel like I need to know that before I go dropping money in a course that I will not be able to implement the tools learned.
Thanks Tammie
Hi Tammie. Thanks for the comment. Within the Freedom Ticket training, Kevin King recommends you have a minimum of $5000 to kickstart your business. But that is if you want to source and buy inventory before reselling it. It sounds like you may already be in possession of goods to sell, in which case you wouldn’t need to spend on inventory to get started like most others do.
That said, you may want to check out our review of Proven Amazon Course. That training teaches several low-budget ways to start an ecommerce business.
