Overall Rating

This is based on the other 3 metrics – all weighed equally – and will give you a quick sense of how trustworthy a domain is.

Domain Authority

A measure of the domain’s authority out of 100. The higher the number, the more authoritative the domain is considered to be.

This metric comes courtesy of the Moz API.

From the Moz website

Domain Authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that predicts how likely a website is to rank in search engine result pages (SERPs). Domain Authority scores range from one to 100, with higher scores corresponding to greater likelihood of ranking.

Spam Score

A measure of how “spammy” a website is considered to be. The lower the %, the better.

This metric comes courtesy of the Moz API.

From the Moz website

Spam Score represents the percentage of sites with similar features to the site you’re researching which we’ve found to be penalized or banned by Google.

Domain Age

A simple calculation of the age of the domain, based on when it was first registered.
