New Site (Probably) Earns $1000 a Month Already

Every US state has its own website for looking up registered companies, and each one works a little differently.

EntitySearch.us puts all 51 of them (the 50 states plus DC) in one place, with a page per state explaining how its search works πŸ‘€

Frey Chu explains…

This is an incredibly boring niche, but it is one of the fastest growing directories that I’ve seen in a while… this website was started roughly in mid July, and it’s already getting 45K organic monthly visitors.

Type in a business name and, if it’s free, the site points you to Northwest Registered Agent to set up the company.

Northwest pays $150 for every company formed that way πŸ€‘

They don’t share numbers, but seven signups a month would be about $1K, and I’d guess it’s in that ballpark.

It’s a playbook I’ve seen work again and again…

  • Take public data that’s scattered and a pain to get at.
  • Put it in one place with a nicer interface.
  • Monetize with ads, affiliate, or premium access.

Other examples πŸ‘‡

  • Trademarkia: $5M a year from a friendlier version of the US patent and trademark database.
  • Milled: a database of brand marketing emails, earning $768K–$1.2M a year.
  • Extra Points: college sports public records, at $299 a month.
  • Angel Match: a hand-built list of investors, now $26K a month.

Find an affiliate program that pays a flat fee per signup, then build the lookup site its customers are already searching for.
