The Savvy System Review

I tried to start a content agency, but despite many applications on Upwork, I never got any contracts.

I believe it’s a game of numbers. Given that I’m not looking to work as a freelancer but rather to start an agency, I needed many more clients than a freelancer would.

I felt that while the course did teach you how to get clients, they could do a bit better in that aspect.

But to be fair, I do understand that as a freelancer, you have to start small and slowly build your reputation and client base.

That isn’t something that business owners like us are too interested in, so the course itself is great, just not quite for me.

I am so happy that I stumbled upon The Virtual Savvy over a year ago. I took the plunge to sign up for their Savvy System course, as well as the Savvy Vault.

The program has been invaluable in teaching me how I can open my own Virtual Assistance business. It has also helped me fine tune the skills I already have whilst learning new ones to help me along the way in my business.

It’s now 2023. I have finally finished the course and set my business up nicely. I still use the Savvy Vault to brush up on my other skills.

If you are serious about starting your business as a virtual assistant, I highly recommend investing in a course or a mentor. It doesn’t have the be The Savvy System specifically, although you will get what you pay for! I did a lot of research and comparison before investing in this course, and it has honestly been life-changing.

Yes, there is plenty of free information on the internet, but it gets confusing very quickly. In Savvy System, Abbey breaks everything down through step-by-step videos, written descriptions, and worksheets to help you process every detail. Soon you start forming your business, with cute gifts along the way to acknowledge your hard work (I got a free shirt, super cute!).

Abbey also provides excellent customer service, an amazing Facebook community that includes plenty of support and quality job opportunities, a “toolbox” with a ton of templates from contracts to email outreach, and access to their legal team. There are also opportunities to become an affiliate, additional courses, and information to sharpen your current skills and learn new skills. The Savvy team holds weekly calls or Facebook lives to answer any questions and review your portfolio. They have even included a course for tax training with a CPA/accountant.

Thanks to the Savvy System, I’ve been able to turn my current skills into VA services, and confidently build a successful business with awesome clients. Just the plethora of job opportunities makes entry into this community well worth it! I have been able to go from a miserable 9-5 and missing out on time with my child to working from home on my schedule. Now I am fully able to enjoy life with my son without having to sacrifice one thing for another.

Keep in mind, that this is a business. This is not a “get rich quick” side hustle or passive income type of job. This is an entryway to new opportunities and the ability to make your life better in every aspect if you put in the work. The only downside is the cost. However, there is a 12-month payment plan available, so the course is pretty accessible for everyone.

My finances as a freelancer and small business owner have done nothing but soar with the help of the Savvy System!! Before taking the course, I was all over the place in where to start, what niche to place myself in, how to send proposals and write contracts, you name it. Everything I did before the course was pretty much “on the fly”.

Thank God I was able to find this amazing course to set me on a clear path. From the video exercises and proposal templates to the awesome Facebook community filled with powerful women, this course has been a true blessing and a dream come true.

It helped me to take action in creating my own personal brand identity and unique niche. I now have a recognizable brand set apart from others, as well as the perfect niche – copywriting and graphic design for women-owned small businesses – that suits not only my needs, but the needs of my clients. My prices have shot up from $12 an hour to $20+. I highly recommend this course!

Put simply, The Savvy System course is worth the money, even if just for the Facebook group that you get access to when you purchase it.

The biggest pitfall I’ve seen with other courses such as Jenna Kutcher’s Email Marketing course and Consulting Accelerator by Sam Ovens is that you have no way to get work or apply for jobs easily. Usually, you do it through paid means or very laborious and not effective means such as direct messaging people, messaging on LinkedIn, etc.

The fact that the Savvy Fb group is constantly providing high-quality job postings is so worth it! Just finding one of these jobs and applying for it in the way that Abbey suggests (by providing value and going the extra mile when applying) landed me a consistent client with whom I have an amazing relationship. The course paid for itself within 2 months with that alone! Even if you just get one recurring job from the group the course will pay for itself which is a great benefit.

Back in June of 2020, I needed a better income opportunity that I could work from home and allow me to utilize the exceptional clerical skills I received from my office support jobs I had in the past. I came across a Facebook ad where Founder & CEO Abbey Ashley explained why she started the Savvy System Online Course and described how it could change a person’s life, allowing more family time while having a successful career. At first, I was skeptical, but I took a step of faith and invested in this exceptional course.

In the last two years, I have experienced unforeseen major hardships that have caused me to put my curriculum on hold in 2021 and 2022. I re-started the course 2 months ago. I truly believe in myself and the tremendous support I am receiving from both the The Virtual Savvy team and everyone in the FB community.

My personal experience with the Savvy System has been tremendous; each module lesson I watch gives me a strong foundation to build on and gives me the knowledge needed to succeed in my VA home business for the future. This wonderful course has helped me achieve the necessary ability, tools – software, documents, contracts – and mindset to become a successful VA working from home.

Lastly, before my hardships, the course layout and each lesson plan that is in the Savvy System helped me greatly with structure and organization along with the desire to move forward with excitement to the next lesson. Each lesson that Abbey teaches is a terrific stepping stone in completing the module section and eventually, finishing the Savvy System.

I am also highly encouraged by all the previous women & men who have enrolled in this VA course, have successfully completed all the module lessons, and now are sharing their experience and journey as new Freelance VA’s.

I was hesitant for an entire year about becoming a virtual assistant. It looked hard because I didn’t understand how to set up a payment system, find clients, do taxes, create a website, etc. After listening to EVERY video I could find on YouTube about being a VA, there was one name I heard constantly – Abbey Ashley. The step-by-step process made it very easy for me to figure out how to price my packages, how much to set aside for taxes, which apps and websites will keep me organized, etc. You can print and write on the handouts and the experts will teach you in detail everything you need to know, from the honey book, Facebook, branding, package pricing, and more. It’s been amazing and has given me more hope for my dream to be a successful VA.

The private Facebook page you join is suitable for beginners and even successful VAs. Being a part of it has been so much help. Everyone there encourages you, cheers you on, and helps you so much in times of need. I have made friends there, accountability partners, and more. The men and women there have helped me specifically with finding places to get clients, given suggestions on improving my portfolio, and kept reminding me how far I can go if I don’t give up!

I started the Savvy System a few months ago, so I haven’t made any money yet. I was working another full-time job and didn’t get to put my all into these courses and find clients. So I decided to quit my corporate job to dive fully into this because I see (and many others do, too) massive potential in me as a VA. This is the perfect opportunity for me to get paid for my skills and effort and give me the freedom to live my life and not live my life at work.

The modules are short and easy to fit into a busy lifestyle. Each module has a small homework assignment with frequent “progress over perfection” reminders. Those helped me not to get caught up in details and to keep making progress.

The course is easy to navigate and the content is valuable. The “Short Mindset” breaks offer opportunities for personal growth. Every aspect of being a virtual business owner was addressed, so I didn’t feel the need to look anywhere else for more information.

I knew I needed help to start my business. This course had even more in it than I thought. You have everything and more to get started. Including a contract and so many helpful templates.

The amount of support you get inside the Facebook community was something I didn’t expect. Also, the monthly events that you get from Abbey and her team are something I needed when I first started.

I have also made some amazing connections because of this course. I also can’t forget to mention that the encouragement I got from Abbey while watching the modules helped lessen any doubt I had. She helped me see how valuable my prior work experience is.

I made my investment back within a month of launching my business. Anyone serious about starting a VA business will not regret purchasing this course. JUST DO IT!

The course is geared towards creatives. The office hours for the team changed to Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and their email turnaround time is 24 hrs at the least. If you send the team an email on Thursday regarding a course issue, the earliest you will be contacted is Monday.

Furthermore, your support “team” is the other students inside the private community who are also learning and tend to bully those asking questions. Now that the course has grown to thousands of students, you will be even less likely to get help from the people that work for The Virtual Savvy.

Abbey agreed to have a one-on-one with me over a month ago regarding my experience with the course but I have yet to hear from her.

I owe my success to the Savvy System and Savvy Vault. I bought the course 9 months ago, and now have a full-time business with 17 clients and 5 employees. The program offers step-by-step instructions on building a business and the options to scale. They cover everything from branding to taxes.

They covered in great detail how to set up an LLC or Sole Proprietorship and the pros and cons of both. This is just one of many areas where I would not have even known where to start. I am 56 now, so if I can follow and understand it, anyone can!

I have followed their program carefully and found great success. The Savvy Vault has so much training. They do struggle to keep it up to date, but I get that since marketing changes daily. Email and Facebook group responses have been quick and concise. So yes, I wouldn’t ever start any type of VA business without them.

The course comes in two parts: The Savvy System and the Savvy Vault.

Both are explained in detail and both teach you how to set up your business step by step. I like the mindset minutes at the end of each video because they tremendously impact your way of thinking.

Starting a business can be a scary and overwhelming process. But this course and the community serve as great support. Also, there are a few live training sessions to equip you as a competent VA.

I personally really like this course, but it is on the more expensive side. So unless you’ve got some stable income coming in every month, it can be a heavy burden for business newbies.

Hello, I want to formally introduce myself as Kaila Janeè. I started this program sometime around August 2021 and that was one of the BEST decisions I ever made.

When I first started the course, it was overwhelming because there were so many informational, quite helpful videos. Later I realized that the videos were broken up into sections, so it wasn’t that bad.

It was extremely helpful to see how interactive the videos were, along with the fact that I could always schedule time for assistance with other members of the group. You have to check it out because it is AMAZING!

Fast forward… I have quit my job! I’m not saying to quit your job; wait until you are financially ready to take the risk. Because it’s hard becoming an entrepreneur, but the Savvy system makes it easier with their support, information, and community.

Currently, I am running my virtual assistant servicing program as a graphic designer and administrative support to other business owners. This kind of work is great because you can tailor your virtual assistant business to whatever you like to do. The Savvy System has many other programs that can give you knowledge in that area.

I am grateful for this program because, without it, I wouldn’t know that anything is possible!

I bought this course because I wanted to start offering VA services alongside of my other business. I enjoyed the video training, they were very useful and relatively easy to implement.

However, this course does have a few negatives. It’s extremely overpriced. While there are a few calls each month that you can sign up to be a part of, there isn’t much in the way of coaching outside of the videos. Most of the questions you have end up being answered by other students and not by the coaches or Abbey herself.

If you’re an independent learner who can time-block and plan well, this course is great. If you’re someone who would need more support and interaction with your coach, there are better programs that cost less.

The course is detailed and it builds up as you go. Any questions that you might have will most likely be answered in The Savvy System. At least it was like that for me. The Facebook community is beneficial, as well.

The only downside is that you might not get a client in the first week or month as so much is advertised about it. It’s been five months for me and I just signed my first client. You just have to keep going.

However, not getting a client at the beginning does not mean the course is lacking. It’s just the way it is, I suppose. Abbey is great, easy to understand, and detailed in her teaching. Definite recommendation.

I started following Abby in 2019 but did not purchase the course until 2021. I can honestly say that it was one of the best purchases I have made over the years of trying to figure out the VA life.

It is also the course that I have stuck by year after year, without moving on to something else. The videos made the step-by-step process of becoming a VA very clear and didn’t leave me with any unanswered questions. I knew a lot…but this course opened my eyes to more than I expected.

I wish I would’ve started the course before starting my business but lessons learned. By working through the process starting January 2021, I hit my first $10k month just 5 short months later!

I started the Savvy System and The Savvy Vault in early Spring 2022. This course has taught me how to set up my Virtual Assistant business. The course creator, Abbey Ashley, shows a lot of enthusiasm in her modules, along with her teammates who teach the system and training.

I could not help but get excited to start and learn new skills through The Savvy Vault System. The modules are easy to understand, and you want to complete the module by hitting that “mark as complete” button. There is a lot of information and downloads in The System. I feel like it is a good investment.

The Facebook support group is just that – supportive! They celebrate your wins (prizes are included, too) and help with any questions you have. I have made friends there, as well. The Customer support team will also answer any questions you might have, even if you have several.

All in all, I would recommend this system to anyone wanting to start a VA business.

The Savvy System has given me detailed directions on how to start a virtual assistant business. The customer service/support associated with the course has been extremely helpful. You can communicate with the Savvy team via Facebook and email, and their responses are prompt. Being in this Facebook community that offers job support and opportunities is also a huge bonus.

As for the lessons, I think the legalities section of the course could be discussed earlier in the course (it is currently Module #7). However, the brand academy module (Module #4) involves choosing your business name and checking name availability with the state. Therefore, I think discussing the legalities module before the brand academy module would be very helpful. Other than that, the layout of the course lesson plans seems to be organized nicely.

I have been wanting to become a Virtual Assistant for the last year. I have been following Abbey Ashley for a while and finally decided to enroll in her course about a month ago.

I was nervous at first, but this course has been very easy to understand. It offers you action steps along the way and helps you to stay focused and accountable. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed the branding section, but the section on choosing your services allowed me to narrow down my services based on my interests. Also, I was finally able to create my branding board and pick my colors. Those actions ignited in me a renewed excitement for being able to use the skills that I already have to start helping clients.

Abbey Ashley created this course most descriptively. It’s step-by-step on how to create your own Virtual Assistant business.

I took the course around April 2022 and learned so much. She provided videos on other skills if interested, a contract template that we can use, everything to start a kick-off call, and job opportunities that we can easily apply for. This course is amazing! I truly believe Abbey did this with the best intention of helping others succeed.

In the beginning, like in every other business, it’s hard finding clients, especially if you did that before. Eventually, I got the hang of it – now every time I connect with someone I get a reply! Maybe I don’t get the job every time, but the fact that they say they will save my info for next time makes me happy and motivated to keep going. Abbey provided us with great ways to help us stand out to our clients and it has worked! So far I have 2 clients that are great, respectful people who are on time for meetings and payments.

I can’t wait to continue growing and have more clients. My goal is to have so many clients that I can hire subcontractors, especially single moms because I know the struggle of being alone and needing to provide. I want to help single moms to start their businesses & be able to give them clients to start.

Honestly, I’m so glad I came across Abbey and her course. It pays off! She’s such a great person who gives us so many ways to succeed in this business.

The Savvy System content is engaging, very supportive, and easy to navigate. Each module flows from the previous one. It’s also easy to access and the language is easy to understand.

The Facebook group is also very supportive. If there is someone who has challenges in accessing and executing the content, there is always someone there to help and keep you motivated.

I decided to look into becoming a virtual assistant after seeing a Reel on Instagram and realizing that I hate my full-time job. I scouted a few different programs and decided to ultimately go with the Savvy System. That was my best decision ever!

When I first started looking at setting up my own virtual assistance business, I had no idea where to go and how to get started. When the time is right, I will be able to go full-time with my business.

I wouldn’t be this far along in my business without the knowledge presented in this course. It would have been incredibly labor-intensive to search and find this information on my own. I highly recommend the Savvy System!
