About the Author
Hey, I’m Niall Doherty.
I quit my last 9-to-5 job back in 2010.
Since then, I’ve earned my living online in various ways. Over the last 4 years (through 2023) I’ve earned $842,000 from my laptop.
I’m on a mission to accurately rate and review all the best online business courses. My team and I are spending many hours investigating these courses and getting feedback from real students.
All that to say: we know a thing or two about such courses and making money online.
The Best Virtual Assistant Course?
Our mission is to find the best virtual assistant course, based on extensive research plus feedback from real students.
The SavvySystem is one of the best VA courses we’ve seen to date…
🏆 Best Virtual Assistant Courses 🏆
How does The Savvy System help you make money?
The SavvySystem aims to help you start your own freelance virtual assistant business.
A virtual assistant is someone who works online, helping another person or business with various tasks. Examples of such tasks: uploading content to a website, managing email accounts, scheduling or posting content to social media.
As a freelancer you would be running your own business. Clients would hire you as a virtual assistant to help with their business activities.
Who is The Savvy System for?
The SavvySystem sells itself as training for anyone interested in becoming a virtual assistant…
The step-by-step program for successfully launching your own virtual assistant business & landing paying clients—with no experience needed!
I would say that you only need basic tech skills. If you have an elementary level of computer literacy, you should be able to follow the training easily enough.
Other than that, there’s truly no experience needed to become a virtual assistant. You mainly just need to be willing to put in the work.
The Savvy System goes through everything you need to learn the trade, so it’s probably not the best fit for already highly skilled virtual assistants. But it has so much content that even seasoned assistants are likely to find something of value here.

Does The Savvy System VA have a good reputation?
Yes.
During my research of Abbey Ashley and The SavvySystem, I found far more praise than criticism for the training and its creator.
It seems Abbey has been actively helping people become highly profitable virtual assistants – via the free info on her Virtual Savvy website plus her premium courses – and has built up an impressive following and scores of testimonials.
Here’s a video from Abbey’s YouTube channel so you can get a feel for her style…
You can see many testimonials from The SavvySystem VA students on this results page.
And we’ve collected lots of reviews from Abbey’s students that speak to the quality of her training.
For example…
When I found the Savvy System, I was excited as I found ONE place to get all the information that I needed. It had modules on systems, processes, branding, making your business legal, and so much more... I wouldn’t be this far along in my business without the knowledge presented in this course.

Are Savvy System students getting results?
Browse through the sales pages for the SavvySystem course and you’ll find no shortage of student testimonials.
For example…
It’s hard to properly evaluate these testimonials without knowing how old they are.
Fortunately, most of this course’s positive reviews speak to significant results achieved: people hitting $5000 months, opening their own businesses, landing numerous clients… all tangible outcomes I love to see.
Better still, we’ve heard from many students of The Savvy System who say the course has helped them build successful businesses.
For example…
I owe my success to the Savvy System and Savvy Vault. I bought the course 9 months ago, and now have a full-time business with 17 clients and 5 employees.
Deanna Jensen
I made my investment back within a month of launching my business. Anyone serious about starting a VA business will not regret purchasing this course.
Carrie Lubing
I wish I would’ve started the course before starting my business but lessons learned. By working through the process starting January 2021, I hit my first $10k month just 5 short months later!

How much does the Savvy System cost?
There are three versions of the SavvySystem. The “Standard” one, simply called The SavvySystem, has the following payment options:
- $997 one-time
- 12 payments of $97
The latter adds up to a total price of $1164.
This includes the course only and no coaching, community, or additional trainings.
You get lifetime access with either option.
Next is SavvySystem Pro.
It’s 12 monthly payments of $147, or you can save $294 by going with the lifetime option of $1,497.
This includes everything except…
- Lifetime Access To Savvy Vault
- Unlimited Technical Support
- 50+ Tech Training Courses
SavvySystem Ultimate costs considerably more, but it gives various benefits. Among them are even more courses, like the Tech Training courses. Also, Abbey promises that new courses are added here every month. It has similar payment options:
- $2997 one-time
- 12 payments of $297
The latter adds up to a total price of $3564.
If you pay for either plan with the one-time option, you also get logo and branding board templates.
The Savvy System VA Discount?
I’ve checked every nook and cranny for a discount code, but it appears to be nonexistent.
Given how there were already coupons on The Virutal Savvy Facebook page, your best bet may be to follow Abbey there, or on other social media.
Until then, it’s full-price to get access.
Refund Policy
The SavvySystem VA sales page specifies a 30-day 100% money-back guarantee…
I am so convinced that you will LOVE the program that I’ll give you your money back if you don’t. If you don’t see results you love within 30 days of purchase I will give you a 100% refund.
However, it’s best if you request a refund before the last few days. As the SavvySystem Terms & Conditions page states…
If requesting a refund, please contact us 48 hours PRIOR to your billing date to avoid having your second payment automatically charged.
There are some cases where you aren’t eligible for a refund, but these are so minor that I don’t really mind them…
If you are in the same industry and sell a similar product to my course, you will not be eligible for a refund.
If you opted for a payment plan and you do not request a refund by the end of the 30th day, you are required to complete the remaining payments of your payment plan according to my 1 payment per month schedule.
If you previously purchased the SavvySystem (previously VA Bootcamp) and requested a refund or cancelled for any reason previously, you will not be eligible to receive a second refund.
I haven’t seen anyone reporting issues getting a refund on their purchase, so you can rest easy with this guarantee.

This is not to say that the core training is lacking. I was actually astonished by its 16 modules, as they were filled with videos, some of which run longer than 20 minutes.
As a cherry on top, there are also numerous bonuses, such as dozens of templates and spreadsheets.
It’s not just about quantity, though: the quality is also there.
The SavvySystem is known as a course that covers basically everything you’ll need in your career, including taxes. Students seem to love that, as most courses don’t talk enough about legalities in their opinion.
Overall, the course is well organized, and there is a great search function. Given how each lesson has a short description, I found it easy to go back to a specific lesson at any time.
As far as the community goes, The SavvySystem has two Facebook groups: one for all aspiring virtual assistants, and the other for paid students only. They are both quite active.
When I checked it, the paid group had 800+ posts in the previous 30 days, including a bunch of success stories like this one…
Green Lights 🟢
Here are a few things to like about The Savvy System training…
- Tried and trusted business model.
- The training is comprehensive, practical and step-by-step.
- Frequent student success stories.
- Abbey Ashley seems like the real deal.

Red Flags 🚩
A few things about The Savvy System VA that might give you pause…
- The “waitlist” for the training is a bit weird (see below).
- Somewhat expensive compared to other freelancing/VA courses.
Other things you should know
- Abbey’s training elaborates on everything she’s done to build her successful VA business. Once you’re a course member, this important content is at your fingertips.
- Helpful downloads are included in the training, containing items like checklists.
- The course has a pretty weird “waitlist” you need to go through before you can join. I was told the course wouldn’t be open for enrollment for several more months, but after signing up to the waitlist I immediately got an email inviting me to enroll that same day. I’m not sure if this some kind of scarcity marketing tactic, but I sure found it odd.
- There is an upsell for The SavvySystem called The SavvyVault, priced at $397/year or $37/month. It’s basically a whole bunch of tech training courses, which you might find helpful if you’re not too tech savvy already.
Should you join The Savvy System VA?
By all accounts, The SavvySystem seems to be one of the better virtual assistant courses out there.
With a 30-day no questions asked money-back guarantee and lots of positive reviews, you can’t really go wrong with it. They teach a sound business model and do a good job of it.
That said, you may find it lacking if you’re already an experienced virtual assistant. The course seems designed primarily with beginners in mind. But given the amount of content in there, it’s likely you’ll learn a lot from it no matter your level of VA experience.
