4 Years Of Nothing, Now $2000/Month

The creator is an 🇮🇳 Indian guy who goes by Kamban The Maker on Twitter. When he hit the $1000/month mark with Elephas back in November, he tweeted…

4 years of nothing and 5 months of good momentum. That’s my story.

Last week he hit $2000 in monthly recurring revenue, and I’d expect that number to continue climbing 📈

In another tweet, Kamban says that he recently became a dad for the second time and was able to quit his 9-to-5 job thanks to the success of Elephas. (He lists the pros and cons of quitting here.)

But before the success came those “4 years of nothing” 😫

Check Kamban’s website and you can see a bunch of projects he built and launched during that time, none of which seem to have taken off. One example is this Chrome plugin that closes multiple browser tabs.

In my view, those 4 years of trying and failing are what led Kamban to his current success with Elephas. That was 4 years of practicing his craft and getting lots of reps building and launching products.

4 years of…
