How does Ippei Lead Generation help you make money?
Ippei’s course aims to teach you the business of lead generation.
Lead generation is when you find prospective customers (eg. people who need to hire a landscaper) online via paid ads, social media or search engine optimization. You then sell these “leads” to a related business (eg. a local landscaper) for a fee.
Ippei’s sales page describes how the business model works…
It’s simple. When a site is ranked to the top of Google’s local listings, it begins to bring in customers. Local businesses then pay you to funnel them the leads you have generated.
So the course basically teaches you :
- How to create these local service websites (eg. landscaping, house painting, plumbing)
- Get those sites ranking high in search engines (mainly Google)
- Get local service providers to pay you for the leads that come through your sites
This particular type of lead gen is sometimes referred to as Rank and Rent SEO.
(SEO = search engine optimization)
Who is Ippei Lead Generation for?
Ippei doesn’t give a direct answer to this question in the sales page. The closest thing to an answer is his claim about his mentor, Dan…
It suggests that you don’t need to have any experience whatsoever with lead generation, just a burning desire to start a business.

Does Ippei Lead Generation have a good reputation?
For the most part, yes.
Both Ippei and Dan seem like legit folks who worked hard to build up passive income streams. They seem to be a bit mysterious, but you could argue that this is preferable to overhyped lifestyle videos.
Ippei is Dan’s close friend and business partner. He has apparently been in the business for over seven years. We didn’t bump into anything worrisome during our research.
Another thing that we really appreciate is how easy it is to access testimonials on the course’s sales page. (More on this below.)
Are Ippei’s students getting results?
Thanks to the course sales page, it’s easy to find legit student success stories.
Many of them have pretty realistic expectations from their businesses, and many of them show actual numbers. Also, you get the feeling that good results really are achievable with enough hard work.

Still, do keep in mind that it’s far from being a get-rich-quick program. You will need to devote significant time and effort to succeed with the training, especially in the first few months.
How much does Ippei Lead Generation cost?
At the time of writing, the cost for Ippei Lead Generation remains unclear.
Last time we heard from Ippei directly, full lifetime access to the course cost $7,860. However, unofficial reports suggest that it can cost as little as $4,860.
And that’s not to mention some of the additional costs…
- Web hosting and domain software – up to $200 per month
- Call tracker – from $25 to $145 per month (the one included with the course may not work everywhere)
- Ahrefs for keyword research – from $99 per month
- Pay-per-click (PPC) ads – usually more than $200 per month, but can significantly speed up the process
All told, I’d recommend having a budget of at least $500 to make a proper go of it the first few months.
Several course students are confident that there is an option to pay in multiple installments, but you’ll end up paying more this way. Just like with other courses, you’re best off if you pay the whole amount in one go.

“They offer payment plans, so people can pay over 12 or 24 months or something like that. I hear the exact details and offers keeps changing with time so speaking with them directly will give you the most accurate recent options. What you’d want to ask them is if you get on a 24month payment plan, is there an exit clause somewhere in between. Paying all at once is obviously cheapest. I don’t believe they offer money-back in that but again, don’t quote me on this. Definitely ask them if you do end up getting on call with them.“
Ippei Lead Generation Discount?
After an extensive hunt, I’ve found no mention of a discount or coupon code for Ippei’s course.
But given that you have to get on a call with a sales rep to join the training, you could always try to negotiate the price with them 😉
Refund Policy
There are some unofficial reports claiming that the course does not give refunds, but we haven’t been able to confirm.
Definitely ask about the refund policy when you’re on a call with a sales rep.
How is Ippei Lead Generation structured?
You’ll find about 30 hours of video training in the course.
It also comes with many extras, like Ippei’s and Dan’s custom call tracking software and automated prospecting system.
Where the course really shines, though, is with the live coaching. Twice a week, members get a chance to chat with Dan and other members of the group. Unlimited Q&A with Dan is also included.
Finally, you get access to a private Facebook group. Here, you can get advice from other members and communicate with them. There is a public Facebook group as well, though that can be quite inactive.

- You need to hop on a call with the team to find out about the price, discounts, and refunds.
Other things you should know
- Via the course you are likely to learn quite a lot about digital marketing. They seem to teach you many different ways to generate leads – eg. Google My Business (GMB), paid ads, LinkedIn prospecting, Business Networking International (BNI). And you’ll also learn about setting up websites, search engine optimization, negotiating with local businesses, etc.
- Although Ippei doesn’t heavily overhype the course, lead generation is not as simple as he tends to present it. While it is possible to attain a big passive income with this business model, it takes lots of time and effort to get there.
Should you join Ippei Lead Generation?
Personally, I’d be hesitant to join this course given that it’s so mysterious.
But if you’re a big fan of Ippei Kanehara and/or Dan Klein and eager to learn lead gen from them in particular, then this lead generation course could be a worthwhile investment for you. You’ll likely find some good tips, processes and mentors within the training and private community.
If you’re not especially partial to Ippei and Dan, but still want to learn lead gen, I’d recommend starting with some lower-priced courses (see below) to test the waters and see if this kind of business is a good fit for you.

I scheduled a call with one of the sales reps from Ippei’s program.
He was late on the Zoom call.
His manner was unprofessional.
His attitude was arrogant and scornful.
He just screen-shared some of the courses on his computer, and that’s all he did.
He even stated he did not make any money by meeting candidates like me.
I could have reminded him that it could go for both of us. I was not making any money by meeting him, either.
The meeting ended within 10 minutes.

How do I find out if Ippei Lead gen offers a payment plan?
Hey John. The only way to do it would be to go through their sales process and get on a call with one of their sales reps.
I scheduled a call, received a TON of email reminders “Dont forget u have a zoom meeting in 24 hrs” “Dont forget your zoom meeting begins in one hr”… and sat like a fool with the zoom address clicked and waited forty minutes for someone to show up. Her name was Sarah and she NEVER got in touch, never apologized. There was literally no email to call to find out has she been delayed, or just not coming? This showed me what an inefficient company they are.
