Affiliate marketing is when you promote other peopleβs products or services, and collect a commission for every successful referral.
7 Figure Franchise is a somewhat unusual affiliate marketing program in that you’re only shown how to promote Michael Cheney’s products.
Once you sign up, you get access to Michael’s products, some basic training on how to promote them, and a bunch of templates you can use for those promotions.
Michael markets his program as a simple 3-step process:
Michael claims that he earned $1.1 million in a single year from selling his products, and 7 Figure Franchise gives you the right to sell those same products and earn a commission for every successful referral.

They all propose to teach you how to make money online via affiliate marketing, they all make big promises about how much income you’ll earn and how little work you’ll have to do, and they all seem to have multiple upsells after the initial purchase.

7 Figure Franchise is primarily marketed to people new to making money online.
You’ll see things like this on the sales page:

I’m pushing the boat out here and flat out GIVING YOU my entire $1.1 Million per year business on a silver platter. This is everything you need. And it’s all done for you.
You just copy, paste and make money.
This one component alone could easily generate you many thousands of dollars this year without you barely having to lift a finger.
However, based on my own extensive experience with affiliate marketing, plus the hours I’ve spent researching 7 Figure Franchise, I personally DO NOT consider this program to be a reliable way to make money online.
I’d especially advise caution with 7FF if you’re new to online business or have a tight budget.
Does 7 Figure Franchise have a good reputation?
Michael Cheney and his 7 Figure Franchise program are somewhat controversial.
Google around for reviews of Michael or his training programs and you’ll find many people reporting that those programs do not live up to the hype.
I don’t doubt that Micheal earned $1,168,766.43 in twelve months as he claims, but based on his sales page and presented screenshots, those earnings seem to be from 2016 or 2017 at the latest.
Also, the promotional strategies that Micheal teaches come across quite spammy.
For example, one of the main ways he teaches you to get free traffic is by adding at least 100 people as friends on Facebook each week β during what he calls “friend-getting sessions” β then posting promotional copy and your affiliate link to your Facebook news feed and hoping that some of your new friends will click on it and make a purchase.
While researching 7 Figure Franchise, I couldn’t help but think how similar it is to a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) scheme. You basically buy a program and then immediately try to convince other people to buy the same program, and then those people are asked to recruit even more people to the same program.
MLMs are considered by many to be very cult-like, and Michael seems to embrace this terminology by referring to himself as “your cult leader” in a video posted to his website.
Are 7 Figure Franchise students getting results?
Best I can tell, the main sales page for 7-Figure Franchise hasn’t been updated since 2017, so all of the screenshots and testimonials you might see on there are now quite old.
I haven’t seen any evidence that students of Michael Cheney are earning good money from following his training in recent years.
Perhaps a bigger red flag however is that in July 2020 Michael reported that he was “permanently leaving internet marketing” because it was “neither fulfilling, nor truly helping nor putting food on the table.”
From that, it sounds like Michael himself was struggling to earn money from internet marketing in 2020.
All that has me skeptical that anyone who signs up to 7 Figure Franchise today can earn a decent income from it.
How much does 7 Figure Franchise cost?
There are two pricing options for 7 Figure Franchise:
- $1997 one-time payment
- 2 payments of $1100, one month apart
Micheal is well known for upsells, so don’t be surprised to be offered several other products after signing up for 7-Figure Franchise.
I’ve read one report of an upsell to an Insiders program, which apparently costs an additional $4997.
Michael mainly teaches free traffic generation methods within the program, but he does cover some paid traffic methods as well, so you might need additional budget if you want to go that route.
7 Figure Franchise Discount?
I’ve seen some reports and rumors about a discount for 7 Figure Franchise, but haven’t been able to confirm any of them.
The program is sometimes advertised as costing $9997 or $4997, but if you go through the main sales page there is a discount code automatically applied and you should be able to get it for $1997.
Refund Policy
The 7 Figure Franchise sales page specifies a “Double Your Money in 60-Days Guarantee”…
If you take action on what we teach here and for some bizarre reason don’t earn at least your initial purchase price of the 7-Figure Franchise within the next 60 days… not only will we give you a complete refund of today’s purchase price… we’ll actually give you double your money back.
However, there are some strings attached to this refund policy:
- You have to send at least 35 unique clicks into the funnels each day using the free traffic methods they teach you.
- You must add at least 100 new friends on Facebook each week and make at least 3 promotional Facebook posts each day.
- You must document your daily activity in a Google spreadsheet and share access with 7 Figure Franchise so they can verify that you’re taking the aforementioned actions.
- You must request your refund between 61 and 68 days after your purchase
- You have to schedule a final Skype call where they will double-check that you are entitled to a refund.
Given all that, it’s strange that they refer to it as a “no questions asked Guarantee” on the sales page.
Personally I think they have too many hoops to jump through for getting a refund, but I haven’t read any complaints from students about getting a refund so it might not be as hard as it sounds.

- Students get access to all of Michael’s programs.
Red Flags 🚩
A few things about 7 Figure Franchise that might give you pause:
- I couldn’t find any success stories from students in recent years.
- Too MLM-y for my liking (Michael even calls himself “your cult leader”).
- Lots of hype and unrealistic promises in the marketing.
- Only shows you how to promote Michael’s products.
- Looks like the program hasn’t been updated since 2017.
- Unclear if Michael is still earning good money as an internet marketer.
- Many poor reviews online for Michael’s training programs.
- Primary “free traffic” method seems to involve adding new friends on Facebook and marketing to them.
Other things you should know
- One of the dangers of 7 Figure Franchise is that it only shows you how to promote Michael Cheney’s products. So even if you are successful in earning money this way, you are still entirely dependent on Michael for your income. If at some point he decides to stop selling his products or stop paying affiliates β unlikely, but possible β then you no longer have a business.
Should you join 7 Figure Franchise?
If you are new to entrepreneurship and are looking for a quick and easy way to make money online, there’s a good chance you’ll end up disappointed with 7 Figure Franchise.
Judging by the old testimonials on the 7FF sales page, some people had success with this program back in 2017, but I haven’t seen any reliable testimonials from students in recent years.
It’s also worrying that Michael himself reported in 2020 that internet marketing was no longer “putting food on the table.”
Personally, I would steer far clear of Michael Cheney’s products, including 7 Figure Franchise. They all seem to promise quick riches with minimal work, but there’s little to substantiate those claims.

I bought several products from Michael Cheney. His email course is not bad, but I never got my money back. My most expensive buy was the ebook cartel for $500, which he promoted as an affiliate. The ebook cartel never made a profit and so few bucks, that they never paid out. Someone recounted that they already tried the ebook cartel before that, but it did not work either and they still launched again. Michael is quite an uncommon marketer, I still like him, but he banned me on Facebook for asking too many questions. I seem to be on his blacklist (after giving him a big commission from the $500 for ebook cartel and buying several of his other products…) as I do not get his email newsletter anymore, even when I sign up.
Also, as I have mental issues (schizoaffective disorder) Michael seems to have them too, as he appears to have succumbed to psychosis several times (1x dog phase, 1x guru phase, 1x retiring from Internet Marketing phase…)
It is not recommended. There is enough free education on the Internet if you want to go into Internet marketing.
Hi there, I have just been scammed by him and his assistants. Not only had I joined the millionaire apprentice program but even Michael’s Cheney’s Lucrative Launch Partnership 2-part payment plan, and two others. Both these programs were not helpful at all. He is verbally convincing though and I guess that’s how I got sucked in. With the former program they promised to be there with you every step of the way but then do not do this. I got stuck on a step just setting up and it took two weeks for them to respond. They do not mention extra charges which I could easily list that are monthly subscriptions. In order not to lose any extra money I had to just ask them to cancel the program..and yes I got no refund for my troubles.
In fact, Michael Cheney recently sent an email letter stating ‘he does not like people who like to enquire about refunds’ because then it shows they are not committed according to him. This shows someone who is becoming less and less sure about this programs because back in the day they offered money back guarantees no problem. so I am not really asking a question here but merely adding onto what you are saying. I wish I had found this site before purchasing his course.

It’s funny that Michael said he was quitting internet marketing in 2020 because I just bought his newly-released (as in 2022) course called 7 Figure Affiliate Marketing LOL.
I paid 20 bucks for it on WarriorPlus (which should tell you everything about its quality from the start).
I do have concerns when it comes to this guy, even more so when he seems to be in with the ‘WarriorPlus gang’ – all sucking up to each other on Facebook, promoting the hell out of each other’s products – congratulating one another for making the leader boards – making $10,000s in sales/commissions.
Makes me sick!
Do these guys really have the customer’s interests at heart or THEIRS?
I bought the 10K Accelerator in November for $3K usd.
It was a total waste of money!
They pump up the fact that they will be sending traffic to your link and that you could be making money within the first 48 hours.
Well…I did get a sale within the first 48 hours of setting up my system. But 2 months later, I’ve had a whopping 3 clicks to my link.
Although we’re not to rely on their traffic to make us money, they certainly skew the sales pitch to make you believe that you’ll make more that one sale, let alone 2 or 3 or even 4!
Worst, is that once you’re in and you get to see the products that you can earn 100% commissions from, and check their refund rate in Warrior plus, you realize that Michael’s stuff is all hype and pretty much the same courses regurgitated.
I have not made a single sale from any of my own efforts and I don’t expect to, either. It’s hard to promote products that suck.
Oh yeah…! And now the course is being promoted for $1,000 less! Piss me off or what!
So, now there will be even more links in the rotator for traffic to get spread even thinner, amongst us.
I would not spend a red cent on this man’s hyped up crap.
