On the topic of passion, Hatton had the following to say (paraphrased from about the 58m mark):
You have to figure out what’s more important: to be directly involved with working on your passion, or to be involved in something else, which allows you to fund your passion.
And I think as long as you’re doing one of those, you’re okay.
The unacceptable middle-ground is when you are working a job you hate which also pays you very little, and therefore doesn’t give you the freedom to follow your passion.
If you are stuck working a job you hate, there are only 5 things you can do.
