About the Author

Niall Doherty

Hey, I’m Niall Doherty.

I quit my last 9-to-5 job back in 2010.

Since then, I’ve earned my living online in various ways. Over the last 4 years (through 2023) I’ve earned $842,000 from my laptop.

I’m on a mission to accurately rate and review all the best online business courses. My team and I are spending many hours investigating these courses and getting feedback from real students.

All that to say: we know a thing or two about such courses and making money online.

How does The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp help you make money?

The course aims to help you become a freelance virtual assistant.

A virtual assistant works online, helping another person or business with various tasks (e.g. email management, data entry, customer service, etc.)

As Annalisa writes on the course sales page…

Want to make money working remotely? Interested in starting a low-cost business that can be done from your phone? Want to create your own hours and become your own boss?

Then sign up for this Virtual Assistant Bootcamp brought to you by Elevated Assist. You can make 4-5 figures/month working part-time or full-time as a virtual assistant.

The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp is intended to show you how to get started as a VA in just 3 days.

However, it doesn’t force you to go through the materials as quickly as possible, letting you set your own pace instead.

Here’s a screenshot from the sales page of what’s covered in more detail…

Who is The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp for?

The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp sells itself primarily as a platform for new VAs.

The official word…

It mostly seems to focus step-by-step on beginner topics, such as starting a business and onboarding new clients.

Does Annalisa Abell have a good reputation?

From what I found, yes.

Annalisa has been working as a VA since 2020.

She apparently has had great success with this business model, as she claims she’s making five figures per month through her agency, Elevated Assist.

I’ve seen reports claiming that TUVAB has been around since 2022, and I’ve only found praise for the training and its creator.

Last I checked, the students only had nice things to say about both the training and the dedicated Slack community.

Annalisa also replies to comments on her Instagram, which now has around 100,000 followers.

And while I didn’t find any of Annalisa’s income reports, I didn’t find a reason to doubt her claims either.

IMO, she comes off as legit, and her marketing seems realistic enough.

She’s also been featured in numerous interviews, such as this one, as well as Business Insider.

Below is a video from Annalisa’s YouTube channel so you can get a feel for her style…

Are The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp students getting results?

It’s easy enough to find people praising The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp, but I had difficulty finding multiple students reporting actual earnings from following the training.

However, the course is rather fresh, so I would personally cut it some slack in this regard.

One of the best testimonials is the one I’ve seen shared on Annalisa’s Instagram story…

I believe we’ll see more significant success stories in due time.

How much does The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp cost?

For access to The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp training, there are two options:

  • $997 for course + community
  • $1212 for course + community + 30m coaching call

You get lifetime access with either option.

Being a VA usually comes with no major added costs, and Annalisa’s training is no exception.

Though you may want to put aside a few hundred dollars for setting up a website and an LLC.

In addition to the core training, she has a $25/month membership program called Money Magnet Program.

Annalisa also recommends creating a logo for your business in Canva, but you can do that with a free plan.

The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp Discount?

Yes, you can get a whopping $800 off using the code “WIN”…

That brings the cost of the training down from $997 or $1212 to just $197 or $412, respectively.

Refund Policy

The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp does not give refunds.

As stated on the sales page…

Refunds are not accepted due to the nature of the material provided. By purchasing this product you declare that you understand that you are getting a highly rated product that doesn’t offer discounts.

I’m pretty against policies like this because high ratings don’t necessarily guarantee high quality.

(Also weird that it says they don’t offer discounts when they definitely do.)

How is The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp structured?

The training is divided into 3 sessions, with each session being a video that’s about 2 hours long.

There are also many bonuses, including checklists, templates, and many other videos.

Here’s what you can expect…

  1. JustAnnalisa Budget Template
  2. Client Consultation Script
  3. Email Script for potential clients
  4. Contract example
  5. How To Onboard a New Client
  6. Example pricing package
  7. EA How to use Slack
  8. How To Get More Exposure For Your Business
  9. How To Fire A Client
  10. Bonus: Interview with Real Estate Virtual Assistant
  11. Booking Flights for Clients EA
  12. Customer Service
  13. Creating a Portfolio
  14. VA Skills Manual
  15. Creating a business (LLC, Business Credit and Tax tips)
  16. Cold Email with Subjects

And here’s a look inside the member’s area…

The training feels comprehensive and practical, with step-by-step instructions.

However, I would’ve liked to see more screencasts and over-the-shoulder walkthroughs.

Instead, the majority of the course is just Annalisa going over slides like this…

You’ll hear from two guests.

Antoinette Johnson teaches the Creating a Portfolio lesson, and Frenchie, known as The Dot Connector, teaches about setting up a business entity.

There are also live Zoom calls every other week.

Reinn, another member of the team, hosts these.

TUVAB’s private Slack community of over 3600 members seems to be active and helpful, too.

Annalisa reportedly communicates with her students here regularly

Green Lights 🟢

Here are a few things to like about The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp…

  • Supportive private community.
  • The training is practical and comprehensive.
  • Annalisa Abell seems like the real deal.
  • No hype or sleazy sales tactics.
  • A solid amount of bonuses.

Red Flags 🚩

Some knocks on The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp…

  • Lack of concrete success stories from students (understandable as the course is new.)
  • No refunds.
  • Lots of PowerPoint-style videos, often telling you what to do rather than showing you with a simple screencast.

Other things you should know

  • Annalisa Abell’s training provides a roadmap of what she’s done to build her own successful business. When you buy the course, you get access to an overview of that documentation.
  • The training includes a set of helpful downloads, including checklists, templates, scripts, spreadsheets, etc.

Should you join The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp?

From what I’ve seen, most people who buy this course end up happy with their purchase.

It seems like a solid investment if you’re committed to starting a virtual assistant business.

That’s especially the case considering the massive discount available to you.

It makes a rather expensive training cost less than most other virtual assistant courses.

That said, if you’re not sure virtual assistance is right for you, then I’d advise proceeding with care when buying The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp or any course that doesn’t offer refunds.
