How to get email subscribers

Lots of ideas in this Substack thread.

A few that stood out to me.

• Email everyone you’ve ever sent an email to and tell them you are starting a newsletter (apparently there’s an app for that)
• Lots of folks say their first subscribers came from announcing their newsletter on Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram
• Find another newsletter you like and do a promotional swap/testimonial in each others newsletters
• Ask existing subscribers to share your newsletter
