Reddit user skrincher runs a small agency in Ireland that sends marketing emails and texts for online stores ๐ฎ๐ช
Last December it took over a seven-figure US clothing brand whose email campaigns had stalled.
Six months later, skrincher writes…
Attributed revenue went from $35k/month to $84k/month. store revenue grew 36% in that time, email grew 139%.
Fix one was sending more, from 56K campaign emails in December to 460K in June…
Most stores i see are massively under-sending. if your list isn’t getting 3 emails a week, start there.
(The list was split into segments, so each customer still only got about one email each week.)
Fix two was a new sign-up pop-up, tested in 50+ versions, which brought in roughly 2.5x the signups on the same traffic ๐คฏ
The winner offered a free accessory (costing the brand $2โ$3) on orders over $100, instead of 10% off (costing $8 an order).
Fix three was SMS, where the brand had no automated flows at all, so setting them up was a quick win and SMS went from under $600 a month to $18K.
None of these are clever tricks, just basics done properly.
One agency charges $1,200 a month for just 4 campaign emails.
Pitch these three fixes to Shopify stores doing $50K+ a month ๐
