• Mister Spoils (curation)
• App Sumo (software deals)
• Lenny Rachitsky (business growth)

The last one makes “only” $360k a year, so it seems Noah took some liberties with the headline. But still hugely impressive for a one-person newsletter.

Also mentioned in that video is Trends by The Hustle, which I reviewed in-depth a few weeks back.

In a recent Trends subscribers-only email, founder Sam Parr wrote:

Newsletters are dead. I’m sorry, this is negative. But I have to address it. Newsletters are all the rage right now. But the real winners are already 5-8 years into the journey. It’s much harder to start a big (1m+) newsletter today than it was a few years ago. So, even though newsletters are stupidly popular right now, I predict very few new winners in 2021. Instead, the REAL winners will take that concept to a new medium.
