First build your audience, usually via a search engine or social media. Then build trust with that audience, usually by getting them on an email list and sending them regular free value bombs 💣
And lastly monetize that audience by offering them a helpful product or service.
It sounds simple but as Miles points out, most people jump straight to the monetization part without first figuring out their audience growth engine and trust mechanism.
That’s like trying to withdraw lots of money from an ATM without having made enough deposits in your bank account 😟
