Comment How To Make Money Online

$3000/Month Converting Fahrenheit To Celsius

Mark Muller
  • Mark Muller

  • Web Designer
  • $3000 estimated monthly revenue from FahrenheitToCelsius.org

Check out fahrenheittocelsius.org 🌡

It’s about as niche a website as you can get, all about converting Fahrenheit to Celsius.

As you’d expect, there’s a conversion calculator right there on the homepage, but they’ve also got…

  • A quiz: “Are You a Actually Celsius / Fahrenheit Expert?”
  • A temperature conversion web app
  • Literally 1000’s of posts like this: 149 Fahrenheit to Celsius

(Btw, most of those pages look auto-generated, some nice programmatic SEO going on there methinks.)

The site is mainly monetized with display ads 💰 but it’s hard to estimate how much it’s earning from those ads without knowing how much traffic it gets.

And the traffic estimates are all over the place…

I’m comfortable pegging the earnings from display ads at about $3000/month 🤑 though it could be a lot more.

The domain was registered in 2016 and it looks like there wasn’t much on there until about March of 2021

According to Ahrefs, the site still only has a domain rating of 6 (out of 100). So even 65K visitors a month is impressive for such a low DR 😳

The creator of the site is Mark Muller, who writes

I am a freelance web designer from Switzerland, and coding has been my hobby since young.

I specialize in helping visitors how to do things with confidence, for example people converting units, doing math, writing numbers and checks correctly, etc.

He lists some of his other websites here

They all look similar to FahrenheitToCelsius.org, but seem to get barely any traffic. Maybe they will do well in due time, adding up to a nice little online empire for Mark.

My main takeaway from this: it’s possible to go super-deep on even the most niche of topics.

That doesn’t mean you can make good money in any niche online, because some niches can definitely earn you more 💰 than others.

But if Mark can create an 8000+ page website on converting Fahrenheit to Celsius, and earn a decent income from it, then the sky’s the limit 🚀
