The LLMP (Laptop Lifestyle Master Program) course, skills vault, 1:1 coaching, and Discord community have helped me develop the mindset, skills, and discipline needed to become a freelancer.

I’ve been in pretty okay jobs over the past years and thought my current situation wasn’t that bad. I was able to pay the bills and go on a holiday once a year, and my co-workers were friendly.

I started exploring other options because my partner and I had to move to another state because of his work. I ended up on Jet’s page. We started talking, and even though I felt a little nervous, I joined the program.

The program goes in-depth and tackles every detail I can possibly think of. I had more questions because it was all new to me, and the coaches and Jet were patient with me, so nothing was too much.

The program costs £2950 (more or less depending on conversion from euros). And this is my experience with it.

I was told that I would receive 3 one-to-one coaching sessions which turned out to be group calls.

After raising this concern with coach Bianka after the initial coaching call, I was told “The format of the call has been changed for time efficiency and to be able to learn from other students”.

This was never run by me or clarified to see if I was still happy with this after being sold 1-1 coaching.

The coaching calls for modules 1 and 2 were repetitions of the videos I had already watched as a part of the module and were mostly about how to use Canva.

On the call for module 1, coach Tatiana had a screaming baby and another person in the background so the call had to be paused a few times.

On the call for module 2, coach Tatiana was 10 minutes late and showed up unprepared. Neither call so far brought any additional value and felt like a waste of time.

Some assignments needed completing before the calls and I was under the impression that calls were meant for discussing those but no one else completed the tasks (but me) so the calls were once again a waste of my time going over how to complete the tasks.

I still haven’t received any feedback for my module 1 assignment which I submitted 2 months ago. Even though I reminded coach Tatiana about it on the coaching call last week.

This feels very disrespectful to my time and work.

On the sales call, I made it very clear to the person selling me the course that I had 8 years of experience in digital marketing, and professional accreditation and I did run my own company in the past.

They assured me that this course was suitable for my needs. It isn’t.

So far I received no value from the videos and coaching calls as the content is far too basic and aimed at complete beginners.

After raising my concerns the team offered me access to a more advanced course that does not exist yet!

Please don’t make my mistake and go somewhere else! They also refuse to give any refund as per their no refund policy even so this course is nothing like what I was told it would be on the sales call!

The course creator guarantees that they will coach you until you get a client, therefore it works for those who need a longer time to succeed. Occasionally, they will post exclusive jobs in the community, although not very often.

Most of the time students are encouraged to apply for work on Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn or Facebook groups, even when we not feeling ready because you learn through practice. Although I agree with this method, I was unsuccessful with landing high-ticket clients within the first 3 months. They are promoting the idea that you’ll hit 3-5K in 3 months, but in my experience, achieving that goal is harder than one can imagine. I landed only 1 beta client in the first 3 months.

I like how the students are very diverse and not just moms looking to work online or USA-based students. Overall, this course works for those who love digital marketing. Still, the price of entry was a bit expensive for me, although they provide you with lifetime access to the course.

First of all, let me just say that Jet was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, and patient, and made the material easy to understand. It was clear that they were invested in their student’s success and wanted to help us achieve our goals.

The course was very well structured and covered a wide range of topics, from social media marketing to email campaigns and everything in between. Classes are kept up-to-date as well with new trends or new learnings. We even have weekly masterclasses to cover new learnings and they would invite successful freelancers/business owners to help answer our questions regarding freelancing and the business itself. I learned so much, and I feel much more confident in my ability to market myself and my business online.

But what made this course special was the community that came along with it. I met so many incredible people from all over the world who were all working towards the same goal. We were able to share our experiences, ask questions, and support each other throughout the entire program.
