🎙 Podcast Clout is another “database” business…

The #1 Podcast List Building Tool for PR Agencies

Forget scrolling through podcast apps or time-consuming research by instantly building a custom pitch list of the most accurate contact information from the top 250 podcasts in any category from the past 90 days.

So the target audience is a PR Agency that wants to quickly find the best podcasts in a category, so they can pitch their clients as guests.

The agencies get access to a regularly-updated database that they can filter through quickly, saving them hours of work 👍

Christina Nicholson is the founder of Podcast Clout, and she recently revealed how she came up with the idea…

In 2020, I launched software to help publicists build a podcast pitch list called Podcast Clout.

I did this after asking another popular PR software to add podcasts to their database for three years.

They never did, so I hired some people a lot smarter than me to build my vision.

Christina sold the business earlier this year “for a low-6 figure sum.” That was apparently 3x revenue, so the business was likely pulling in $3000/month or more 🤑

The new owners “plan to build the company and then sell it in a few years.”

And Christina may end up making even more money from Podcast Clout down the road…

She negotiated a 10% ownership stake in the company, which should allow her to benefit from future growth…

“I’m so excited to see what they do with it,” she said, “because again, my heart’s not in it, but theirs is.”

Awesome 😍

Is there a list or database that would make your job easier?

If it doesn’t already exist, could you create it yourself and sell access like Christina did? 🤔
