Below quote from the book Everybody Writes by Ann Handley 👇
This can apply to becoming better at anything.
Becoming a better writer—working the muscle—takes some commitment to simply show up, not unlike the commitment I kept with my gym trainer, Dorothy. Both writing and strength training can feel awkward and a little painful at first: I felt like a total poser donning spandex and sneakers, and I felt idiotic grunting under the weight of barbells that seemed sized for an undernourished eight-year-old. But the point is to keep at it, even when it’s uncomfortable and you’d rather quit.
