Bear Bull Traders aims to help you make money by teaching you how to profitably buy and sell stocks and options.

A way to think about a stock is that it allows you to own a small piece of a public company. The more stocks you own, the more of the company you own.

Basically, if the company gets bigger and its stock value goes up, you can sell the stock to make money. You’ll profit from the difference between what you first invested and the new stock value.

Does Andrew Aziz have a good reputation?

It’s complicated, but I’d say yes.

Andrew Aziz is the founder and CEO of Bear Bulls Trading.

He’s a #1 best-selling author, Forbes Council member, and has written on major sites like Entrepreneur.

And Investopedia and Business Insider named Bear Bull Traders the best overall trading course…

However, there has been some controversy involving Andrew and his instructors.

Here’s a comment on a YouTube video⁴ accusing BBT of being a scam…

I don’t think using an alias is necessarily a red flag, and I found nothing negative about their real names online.

It’s also worth noting that the creator of this video is promoting his own offer.

And most of the creator’s comments felt like over-the-top ramblings…

A vast majority of comments backed up BBT…

But there seems to be evidence that brings some of the positive comments into question.

For example, this looks like an account set up on YouTube solely to post comments defending Bear Bull Traders…

While this could be an employee of BBT, it could also just be an actual customer who felt the need to defend the training.

Next, while looking through Twitter, I saw a tweet claiming Andrew Aziz plagiarized from another trading book word for word…

This sparked some backlash…

In my opinion, this isn’t enough evidence of flat-out wrongdoing by Andrew. One possible explanation is that he could have hired a ghostwriter who copied that text.

While I’d say it’s his responsibility to ensure this doesn’t happen, it doesn’t mean he did it intentionally. So we may want to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Another tweet from @GuruLeaks calls out a Bear Bull Instructor named Thor Young. They claim he posted proof of earnings from a paper trading (play money) account…

But despite these few theories, I find the opinions of the credible sources mentioned above more compelling. And they suggest that Andrew Aziz and Bear Bull Traders are reputable.

Are Andrew Aziz’s students getting results?

It’s easy to find people who praise Bear Bull Traders. But I found no students reporting significant results from following the training.

For example…

For such a highly-praised and popular course, I would have expected to see far more testimonials of actual student results.

But such reports seem to be rare for students of Bear Bull Traders.

How much does Bear Bull Traders cost?

There’s no hard sell, but the training might feel incomplete without it.

And there are optional trading setup recommendations like monitors and chairs.

So unless you decide the courses and community are all you need, you’ll want to have at least $300 extra to invest in DAS Trader Pro Simulator.

And, of course, you’ll eventually need funds to make real trades 💰

Suggested capital depends on a few factors, including your goals.

For example, the U.S. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) states you need at least $25,000 in your trading account for pattern day trading. ⁵

But theoretically, you could start other types of trading with as little as $500.

There’s essentially no minimum or maximum as long as it’s money you can afford to lose.
