Bad at Math

Matt Waite was always terrible at math. Then, at 37 years of age, he started taking math class again and getting excellent grades.

As he explains it, his level of effort made all the difference…

The difference between good at math and bad at math is hard work. It’s trying. It’s trying hard. It’s trying harder than you’ve ever tried before. That’s it.

So do me a favor: Try. Stop with the jokes. Stop telling me, “Oh, I could never do that” when you ask me about math. Because it’s not true. You can. If you try.

With that in mind, don’t be too quick to give up on learning a skill or building a business just because it’s hard.

It being hard is actually a good thing: most of your peers and competitors won’t persist. If you do, you’ll be exceptional.

And exceptional people tend to get exceptional results 😉
