Shopify app developers rejoice…

…because Shopify just announced that they’re reducing revenue share on apps to 0% for the first $1 million earned each year, down from 20%.

That amounts to as much as $200,000 annually back in the pockets of each Shopify app developer 🤑

App Radar has a good overview of fees charged by app stores, and it seems to me that Shopify’s announcement makes every other store look bad.
