No-Code Plugin Earns $33,000

Matt Wierzbicki writes: How I made over $33,000 on the Figma plugin without writing a single line of code 😎

His product is called Figmaster. There’s a 2-minute demo on the homepage but basically it teaches you how to use Figma – an interface design tool – from inside of Figma itself.

Matt explains…

I often find that when I watch a lesson I forget most of the things the author mentioned in the long video. Another problem is jumping between the video player and the software I’m learning. It distracts me a lot. That’s why in Figmaster everything happens in Figma — without jumping between 3rd party apps/websites, without pausing the video, etc.

Figmaster ended up being the #1 product of the day on ProductHunt and Matt did $33k in sales in a few weeks.

👆 That tells me he might be onto something with this embedded learning approach.

Maybe you could do something similar for popular web apps via a Chrome Extension.

For example, instead of buying and watching a Twitter Power User video course, you’d buy and install a Chrome Extension that provides key prompts and insights while you’re using Twitter.
