Link building 🔗 is a key part of SEO, and I love finding creative examples of it.

Here’s one…

Taloflow helps companies find good software. Two weeks ago they published a one-page website poking fun at something that happened in their industry. The site already has 297 backlinks from 67 domains, passing some nice Google juice along to their main site (linked twice in the footer).

Another example… 

The Game Christmas Tinner. Game.co.uk came up with a novelty product idea that they knew people would link to, then linked from that page to the “gaming chair” page they were really trying to rank 📈

The most creative thing I have done in order to get a backlink installing a webcam overlooking the beach. It was for a hotel, and once we had the webcam feed up on a page on the site. We started doing link building and we got so many links, it was a great ROI.
