Basecamp is an impressive company with many employees working remotely.

They advertised an opening for a Senior Programmer back in July – with pay ranging from $145,000 to $179,000 per year – and ended up hiring a dude named Jorge who lives in Valencia, Spain 🇪🇸

On the Basecamp blog earlier this week, Jorge revealed how he got hired, and even shared the PDF application he sent in to start the process.

Sounds like persistence was a massive factor in landing him the job, but of course he also had top-notch skills, and values that aligned well with the company.
