Origin of a $35k/month SaaS business

The business is Closet Tools, “a browser extension that helps you make more sales, get more followers, and automatically share items on Poshmark.”

(Poshmark is a marketplace for buying and selling clothes and home decor. And SaaS = Software as a Service, which I consider a Level 5 online business.)

Started in Feb 2018, Closet Tools is now at $35k/month in revenue 💰

Founder Jordan O’Connor shared on Twitter how the business came about:

Wife starts a business on Poshmark. I notice inefficiencies that could be automated. I wrote the scripts to save her time. Published them on my blog. It helps other people with the same problems. Now the SaaS makes 100x the original business.

The lesson there is that the best ideas often come when you’re already in motion, actively working on other things and solving whatever problems come up.
