James shared some details of the business with me via email…

Castaway was stuck at $4-6k MRR for a year while I was doing it as a side hustle.

I quit my job in December 2023 to go all-in on it (and a couple other projects) and now it’s up to $20,000 MRR spread across 11 clients… our current pace is a $250k run rate. 

We’re adding 1-2 clients per month right now and turning probably 5-6 away because they aren’t a good fit.

James reckons there’s plenty of opportunity for other people to do this 💪
