$1 Million a Year Cloning Photoshop

This is one of the most fascinating solo-entrepreneur stories I’ve seen in a while.

Seven years ago, Ivan Kuckir started building Photopea, a free web-based version of Adobe Photoshop, coded mostly in JavaScript.

He started monetizing it four years ago and reports that he’s earned “almost $1 million in the last 12 months, 90% from ads” 💰

Ivan remains the only person working on the project and his hosting costs amount to less than $100 per year.

He’s quite the advocate for entrepreneurship…
