10-Day Challenge Led To This $2500/Month App

Fernando Pessagno is the founder of aiCarousels, a tool that lets you easily create carousel posts for social media.

In a recent tweet, Fernando reveals that he’s already at $2500 in monthly recurring revenue, just 3 months after launch 🚀

His first version of the product was very basic…

It got the job done, kept me accountable, and was good enough to check if there was interest out there. It also built momentum going forwards (shipping and rolling updates are way more exciting than building forever!)

Fernando has been live tweeting updates, launched on Product Hunt and someone with a big following mentioned his product… all of which helped get his first ~20 customers 🥳

aiCarousels almost didn’t happen though…

I was not really sure about the idea. Then I challenged myself to a 10-day #buildinpublic challenge (you can binge watch the whole saga here)

I was thinking that worst case scenario, I just lose 10 days, and I still could learn a thing or two!

Maybe you could follow Fernando’s lead: put a time constraint on a project and get the first version shipped no matter what.
