Two weeks ago in this newsletter I shared an interview with a lady who was earning between $6k-$11k a month selling blank books on Amazon (think journals, diaries, planners, notebooks and sketchbooks).
Reader Howard from Puzzle Barn Press shared his experience trying the same thing:
My wife and I have been doing this for about 5 months now. Along with some other stuff like calendars with pretty images. We have more than 3000 of these low-content books up, and we are making… wait for it… nearly $50/month so far. A bit underwhelming. The margins are terrible, and the competition is ridiculous.
A week later Howard added:
We are now getting more than $100/month on low-content books (blank journals of various types), and the trend is looking good. Next month may be over $200. The pre-Christmas sales should be much better.
