I researched domain flipping earlier this year and it’s a tough business. I profiled Glen Stokes, who sold his 23-year-old plants.com domain for $450k. But that kind of outcome is pretty much impossible nowadays unless you have a time machine handy.

The best example of a recent and verifiable domain flip I could find was Jonas Nielsen buying bahamasweddingphotography.com for only $12 and selling it a few weeks later for $836.
