$500,000 For Deep Frying a Turkey

Several weeks back I wrote about Snapchat paying users $1 million per day to post videos to their new TikTok-like platform called Spotlight.

Now the New York Times is reporting that some folks have been making a killing doing just that, including one teenager who has earned nearly $3 million in a couple of months 🤯

Another jaw-dropping success story is a 27-year-old who usually earns $12.50 working at a Lowe’s in Albuquerque:

When she noticed the new Spotlight feature on Thanksgiving, she decided to upload a video of her sister deep frying a turkey.

Two weeks later, Ms. Romo learned that her video was so popular that it had earned her about half a million dollars.
