🤑 Profession = Your main work, specifically things that can’t be outsourced.
😍 Obsession = Something outside of your work that puts you in a state of flow. For Jodie, this is powerlifting.
😌 Decompression = Intentionally switching off and recharging. Think meditation, spending time with friends or family, or anything that helps you unwind.
The key, according to Jodie, is to keep these three categories distinct and separate…
Flitting between profession, obsession and decompression is not the plan… everyone loses when we multitask and we need to stop doing it. Multitasking is for losers.
This framework can be a good way to think about your own life and how you spend your time.
