This Unique Blog Earned $200,000 in Year 1

Founder Ch Daniel was 21 years old when he launched the site in 2019, along with his 15-year-old brother.

In our first year, we did $200,000 USD revenue — all using just regular no-code tools.

It started from a blog where I curated information on how to spot fake items. I was a sneakerhead and I sold sneakers too, so initially the website was just for sneakers.

The short story…

• Realised it’s a format ppl need
• Helped ppl for free
• Made a business around it when we couldn’t face demand anymore

The business mainly seems to be a custom authentication service that costs $20-50 per item. They also sell certificates of authenticity ($60 a pop) and offer two monthly memberships.

Daniel learned quite a bit about no-code while building Legit Check, then went on to launch Simple.ink, a Notion website builder that was on track to earn $250,000 in revenue in its first year 🤯

So now he has two businesses earning him a combined ~$500,000 per year, and it all started with him blogging about fake sneakers.
