I was aiming to keep everything under €2,500 for the month. One of the rare occassions where I actually spent way less than predicted!

😢 Biggest Regret?

Nothing major.

I’m spending a bit more on food and drink than I’d like – $664 in July – but the convenience factor makes it worth it.

Overall I’m very happy with the month. Relative to the previous, income was up $1000+ and expenses were down $1000+.

🗓 2019 So Far

Here’s how I’m doing this year in terms of profit and loss:

January € 653 $ 747
February € 529 $ 601
March € 242 $ 272
April € 240 $ 269
May € 171 $ 196
June € 1,906 $ 2,163
June € 45 $ 50
Total € 1,084 $ 1,230

📊 Where That Leaves Me

I had €14,095 / $15,995 to my name at the end of June.

Taking into account all my July income and expenditure, and the most recent exchange rates – I have accounts in EUR, HKD and USD – my total bank and cash balances now work out to €14,331 / $15,872. 25

🔮 Outlook For August

Affiliate income should push $2,000, and I’ll earn about $130 more via Patreon.

Staying put in Bali for the month, but expenses are likely to go up.

I will be booking at least one flight, maybe two. My outsourcing costs will rise as I hire more help. And I may buy a new course or two for review.

Keeping expenses under $2,500 would be good going.

  1. It’s great to see your hard work payoff. Are you enjoying your time more now that you are not doing consulting work? How has that changed your work life?

    • Thanks, Nancy.

Yeah, definitely enjoying my work more now that I’m 100% focused on my own thing. My energy levels have been great recently, probably in large part because of the work 🙂
